Any excuse for you to come back to Valley Of Fire is good 👍. Yes, it's an awesome state park! Also, the last two hikes posted about are the less popular ones if you can believe that, lol. Looks like a beautiful spot. Surprised not too many people know about it. I actually really enjoyed the bog rock at the start - quite impressive and it's always nice seeing the petroglyphs.

It has been a while but good to go back to hike that you have previously done and enjoyed, also a good way to check your fitness too. Mid January and low 60s sound dam near perfect hiking weather to me, especially with no crowds. Nice bit of scrambling but not the easiest trail to follow but still a real good days returning hike, cheers Alan

Amazing hike Eric awesome pinnacles and the contrast from them to the sky was indeed amazing. That's a bummer about the cacti. Wonder why they were broken. Such a beautiful place and great solitude

yes good advise do the stairs to the petroglyphs at the start rather than at the end, the Pinnacles rock formations are amazing to see and that's to bad more people don't take the time to hike there, look at all the beauty of nature there missing

Yeah , there are plenty of people on a lot of the other trails there , but this one in particular, not so much. Yeah, it was good coming back and revisiting this hike. I definitely lucked out with the weather also. Thanks, Craig!
