Yes, thats a different story. It's about a man that locked himself up in his house basically, doing nothing but worshipping Allah. Yet, he was the first to be destroyed in his town because he never made da'wah to the peoples in his town. There were many haraam things going on there, but he only saved himself.

When people go to jail or are dying from AIDs then they start to pray to God. By that time it's too late. About 127 Prophets came to this world from Allah to convince us their is Allah. Allah listens to everybody, but does not talk to anybody. Allah only spoke to Prophets.
