For the way out of the underground loot area, upon entry there is a hallway on the right. At the end of this hall there is a room with a gold knockdown. Before you enter that room, there is a hallway. There is a large green (it might be red, I can't remember) button. Press this button, a hatch will open and a rope will drop down after a second. The hatch and button are in the same small hallway.
