I loved this movie, but one of my criticisms was regarding this Clark-Kent-sounding toad. Why didn’t they just have Toadsworth? I get that Xgening some hair takes work, but Toadsworth is actually a relavant character to the Super Mario franchise.

Creator? What kind of nonsense are you saying? Shigeru Miyamoto barely even works on the Mario games these days, playing a supervisory role at most. Super Mario 3D World was directed by Koichi Hayashida and Kenta Motokura, with the latter also directing Super Mario Odyssey. Yoshiaki Koizumi produced both of them. Needs the movie to stay relevant? Super Mario 3D World has sold 16.70 million copies. Super Mario Odyssey has sold 25 million. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has sold a whopping 53.79 million copies. The notion that Mario "needs the movie to stay relevant" is dumb as heck.
