OK, I have a serious question for all of you. Do any of you actually watch the video? Or are you only listening to the music in the background? 🤔

Figures. I might not do more of these videos if it means people are generally and purposely avoiding the official music sources, as this video (and others) in this series are still subject to copyright claims because I haven't done much "original" stuff with it other than using it in the background as I attempt to "Freestyle Conduct" to the music. Hence, my main focus has shifted over to my Organ Covers (which I tend to enjoy doing them more), though I'm flabbergasted to see that my Freestyle Conducting videos are getting crazy viral.

*The 10 Plagues of Egypt* 1. Turning water to blood 2. Frogs 3. Lice or gnats 4. Wild animals or flies 5. Pestilence of livestock 6. Boils 7. Thunderstorm of hail and fire 8. Locusts 9. Darkness for three days 10. Death of firstborn

Each and every plague was to show the Egyptian people that their gods were fictional.

Notice how God gave Ramses 9 chances each arguably worse than the last. Warning him and showing him that he is in fact very real. He only resorted to the death of children after Ramses refused to let the Israelites go AFTER ALL OF THAT.

Each and every plague unleashed was proof that the Gods of Egypt have no power over Yahweh, and that they flee before him. Turning the Nile River into Blood: Signifies God's supremacy over the the various gods associated with the Nile, many of whom (Anukis, Khnum, Sobek) the priests invoke. Frogs from the Nile: Illustrates God's power over the frog-headed goddess Heqet, another of the gods Hotep and Huy invoke. Lice from the Dust: Signifies God's power over Geb, the Egyptian god of the earth/land. Swarms of Flies: This Shows God's authority over Khepri, the Egyptian god who moved the sun with the head of a fly/scarab/insect. Pestilence of the Livestock: This shows God's victory over Hathor, the Egyptian goddess of love usually depicted with a cow head and is closely associated with cattle. This also was an affront to Heqet, a goddess of birth and fertility. Boils and Sores: Represents God's power over the gods of healing, such as Isis and Thoth, along with two the priests name- Sekhmet and Selket (who specifically healed venomous bites and stings). Thunderstorm of Hail and Fire: Signifies God's dominion over Nut, Egyptian goddess of the sky (one of the invoked gods), Shu, the Egyptian god of the winds, and Sekhmet (goddess of fire amongst other things). Locusts: Illustrates God's supremacy over Seth/Set, the Egyptian god of chaos and the desert, and Neper, the Egyptian god of grain. Three Days of Darkness: Represents God's supremacy over Ra, the Egyptian sun god, who is the first god the priests turn to for power. Possibly also demonstrates superiority over Aten (another solar deity) and Khonsu (deity of time and the moon). Death of the Firstborn: Signifies God's ultimate authority over the pantheon, especially gods associated with protection and death. This demonstrates power over many gods invoked (Anubis and Nepthys who protected the dead, Nekhbet and Wadjet who were protectors of Egypt, and Meshkent and Heqet who were goddesses of birth), along with multiple other major gods; Osiris as lord of the dead shouldn't have let it happen, Horus as protector of Egypt should've stopped it, and, most pertinently, it was a personal failure of the Pharoah himself, as it was a direct attack on the people of Egypt that he allowed to happen when he could've easily stopped it by letting the Hebrews go free. Additionally, the Angel of Death arrives and leaves from a portal in the constellation of Orion the Hunter...who to the ancient Egyptians was Osiris, judge of the dead. This could be interpreted either as Osiris being subservient to Yahweh, siding with Yahweh against the Egyptians, or Yahweh doing this against the will of Osiris.
