@AlfaRomeo156SWGTA11 ай бұрын
Yes, I was going to post the same. It has so much more potential, and a tiny bit of weight loss will help to. But better aerodynamics is super important at high speeds. Closed front, flat bottom and attention to details. Needs passenger side window first. 145 mph+ and 9.40's for sure.

I too think you guys need to address the aero packing up in front. It's bound to be slowing you down on the top end, since you're stuffing all that air into the can van body. The dash shows just how much air is piling up. Fix that, and with Kyle's killer lights you will spank Cletus easier!

The Plaid has a great drag coefficient, so the van body was always going to slow it down a bit if I had to guess, but wow it didn’t affect it as much as I’d have guessed. I think a fun goal could be improving the aero and weight while still (mostly) keeping the sleeper van appearance.
@Brurgh11 ай бұрын
its also likely to be a lot lighter too, there looks to be very littler interior in the Plaidessey. so it could likely balance out a little

6:01 an idea for the tail light is to measure how much voltage each led takes with a volt meter. I see a resistor on the board but most led are 3.7-6v depending on color of led. For Red brake lights it's usually 3.7 to 4.7v max. On the original Tesla brake light board I see a resistor on each led to lower the voltage. So chances are you could find a spot on the Tesla brake light board that outputs 12v, when you hit the brakes. If the best voltage you could find is 6v then it's still great news, it only means, you can put at least 40+ led off one 6v rail. You can use a breadboard to install the led, in a nice pattern and put it in the trunk tail light. I wish I'm near by you guys, because it's such an easy project and I'm down to help out anything electronics for free, since it's fun for me.
