If you have a Shredder, Drones can come in handy for getting rid of excess production. If you set the Shredder priority to -1, the Drones won't add anything to it until you've filled up your main storage cabinets first. This comes in handy if you have a T1/T2 Miner that is stuck and won't mine anymore because it's full of a material you don't need (Iron, etc).

Food and algae u don't need to supply, just demand and it will search for it. Set one burner to demand and auto burn cobalt,iron, magnesium, silicon, titanium. (More for when you have a mine for every material so you don't run out). Have a locker do demand one of each thing first. My drones always busy and production never stops for more advanced materials

I built a drone station and the instructions were not clear. I didn't realize there was a filter on the storage containers, which should have been stated in the drone station little instruction blurb. Thanks for this. I probably would have figured it out eventually, but nice to not have to flounder though it.

You can clear them out and either put them in the shredder. You can also tell the mining tool to supply the other minerals. You can supply more than one.👍

told my drones to collect uraninite from t3 mines and demanded them to bring it to the crusher input and told them also to get the finished content to bring uranium , iridium , superalloy, and metal to the t2 lockers but asked them to bring that darn dolomite stuff to the shredder. Same with bauxite to bring the good metals like iron aluminium to the lockers but told them to bring the unusable metals to the shredder once dfone it's bringing some rest to my game awesaome stuff theese drones i didn't wanted to use it and do everything manually but always run out of resources soon that's why i choose that right afdter placing the t3 mines where they are needed without having to visit them DRONE DELIVERY TO MY BASE !!

The only problem with this drone It is taken from the Inventory when activating automatic crafting How do I make it not be taken from a specific Inventory ?

The automatic crafter will automatically take it from the cabinets the drones do not do the crafting if the drones taking from a cabinet tell that cabinet to stop supplying👍

Almost to the drone stages myself but I have a question, especially with the ore extractors. You set the extractor to supply sulphur but at some point it'll fill up with random ore and thus prevent further sulphur extraction. Can you set the extractor, and other suppliers, to supply more than 1 material or do you have to go manually empty it?

Yes with extractor one and extractor two you need to empty the box. Have a trash bin beside it helps when you get extractor three, you can choose which or you want it to mine.

i just built an automatic fabricator and noticed it can build drones. I don't have a drone station unlocked yet, I just made 2 drones and dropped one in the world which is now just hovering in place forever. I can't pick it up anymore and does nothing 😅 I guess once I get a drone station it will fly towards it.

So, extractors that are specific things like sulfur for instance. You still have to go to these and get all the junk out or eventually or your storage will build up junk and leave no room for the sulfur. Right?

Yes, but the top tier extractor you can set it for a pacific or no junk😊

On a level 1 or 2 Extractor, you can put a Shredder box right next to it. Then, tell the Extractor to supply everything and tell the Shredder box next to it to Demand only the stuff you want to throw away. (Also, make sure you check the "auto-empty" box on the Shredder, so you don't have to empty it yourself).

Try grabbing some vegetables or honey and putting it into the feed station in the shelter you can also tell the feed station to demand all and tell your drones to deliver honey or vegetables. It should work if not check out my videos on planet Crafter.😁👍

Yes there is a feed station in the shelter and there is also separate feed stations. You can build and put around your site. Check out all your blueprints.🤓
