These children are so intelligent and creative. I hope that they can maintain that into adulthood.
@boondocksdragon89592 жыл бұрын
It's been my observation as an elementary teacher that most children are intelligent and creative like this. I believe it's the adults in their lives and the amount of real-world stress and anxiety they come into contact with that causes that to degrade over time for many kids. I agree with you in hoping they're able to maintain their imaginative selves through these school years. 💚 In hindsight, I think that childlike wonder is something that Russell has managed to hold on to, and it makes him a joy to watch.

So intelligent they think an alien would look like the typical green big headed little nosed thing they see on tv. Chances are, we are the aliens we think of. We just evolve into that sort of shape. We have it already with Bill Gates 🤣

@@nickevershedmusic8927 He just seemed to be neurodivergent in some way. Super common for those of us who are autistic or have ADHD to have special interests or hyperfixations which mean we gain very in depth knowledge on niche subjects. He seemed so genuinely excited to share the information he had learned, even if it did freak the other kid out a bit.

1:15 - In fairness, that kid was technically correct as he was talking about the engraved plaques attached to the Pioneer 10 and 11 space probes, which showed a drawing of a naked man and woman as well as other things to try and explain our species and the location of Earth without using language 😀

Russel's Napoleon Dynamite style 'Whuh?' at 0:32 was an excellent example of speaking someone else's vernacular. It was seamless, the kid didn't even notice.

If they gave out the same answers as adults, you'd think they're all in rehab. Only at that age can you make up stories because you don't know the truth and be adorable while doing it.

It makes sense if you understand the context. I’m pretty sure he was trying to explain the Voyager Golden Record and the pictures it contains. Then he added more to it from that. Search the name in a search engine, or on KZbin. Vox has a simple video explaining it and then showing the pictures it contains.
