I notice in many of these plazas,people must stand. Why don't they install more park benches so people can sit and talk?

It's true. You have to rent a table in a cafe if you want to sit. It's the same way i many cities. Probably tradition....

You sound like Jan Gehl. That is a metric he quantifies. He is really well known for studying the design of public spaces and has a firm called Gehl Architects.

Es una satisfacción verlas así para disfrute de todos, pero quien las ha conocido echa de menos su singularidad. La plaza de la verdura con sus bancos y su entorno verde no tenía necesidad de los toldos y bares . Así como los jardines que ya no tiene la de Alonso de Fonseca. Son todas iguales y un asador en verano

Biggest lie! Can someone explain me why there were full of cars when I visited? And terrible drivers in this city people don’t know how to drive with the turnabout and selfish unfit bikers occupying the road!
