I guess historians may argue the historical accuracy in scenes of this film, but I think the sweat on Stauffenberg's face was undoubtedly true to history.

I haven't seen the movie in ages, but I do remember Stauffenberg sweating through a lot of it. Maybe one day it will appear on KZbin or Amazon Prime.

@@aaaht3810 Yes, it could be very accurate. One of the reasons Hitler wasn't killed was because the conference site was changed to a wooden structure versus the concrete bunker it was originally scheduled to be in because it was a hot day.

@@pzkw6759 The tension Stauffenberg was under must have been incredible. Walking around with a fused bomb, not knowing exactly how much time the time fuse would give him. Having to place the bomb in a building he was not planning to be in. Then he has to place the bomb, get out of the building, and then make it past the checkpoints AFTER the bomb had detonated. I can't imagine it.

Hitler's life was saved due to the bag being placed behind the legs of a heavy oak table....I find it hard to believe that the piddling table shown would have helped very much.Also Stauffenberg walked out without his hat which aroused suspicion.

he was not only saved by the table leg, but also because it was a very hot day and the doors/windows were open, so the explosion could go some were, if the doors and windows were close, it would have been way more destructive.

Everyone has a sensitivity to prolong their own life, and a timer is more absolute than pulling a weapon in that room. Also, the amount of guards that are armed in that room? People would dive in front of the man to save him I assume. Not as simple as you think. "Round about plotting and scheming is weak" until it isn't. Until it works. Until we take out world leaders with unofficial groups that don't exist on paper like Delta Force and other special operations, while blaming it on someone else. Actually play the scenario out, don't just bullshit that you think "if someone was about that life xyz"

The plot wasn't just about killing Hitler. Stauffenberg and the plotters also wanted to take over Germany and end the war.

A more recent Mythbusters episode did a test that showed, even if the meeting had been held in the concrete bunker as planned, the explosive amount was not strong enough to kill just by overpressure. As proved to be the case it would need to go off very close to the target.

Von Stauffenberg is wearing the wrong uniform he has white shoulder boards which are for Infantry he should have a pinkish colour and his pants should have stripes like the Generals but pinkish colour indicates he is a member of the General Staff

汗ばんだ顔で湿度の高さの表現、会議室の窓を開けた事で爆風が散って失敗した表現、描写の細やかさが素晴らしいですね。 そして正にヒトラーがテーブルに向かって身体を下げていた所で爆発が起き、跳ね上がったテーブルが盾になった事でヒトラーが軽症で済んだという描写の正確さも素晴らしい。 「ワルキューレ」よりも出来が良い作品ですね。

Theres one small detail here that the filmakers missed. Conel Staufenberg removed his hat before entering the room and forgat to take it with him when he abrubtly left to take the fake phone call. It was that hat he left behind that first caused suspicion. Even his driver mentioned it to him as he got into the car to quickly leave the place. He told his driver to simply mind his own buissness and drive.
