I have the R36s and it is great for the money...PS1 and earlier...just like a lot of the old Android boxes....and ArkOs is fantastic. Got mine for $25. Its worth to pay up to $50 max for it though... but can be found all day from $40-45

Buy a new SD Card. I have three devices. One for me and two for my Kids. From 29-40 Euros. Copy all from sdcard to a folder, flash new sdcard with arkos and copy back or copy a sorted game list. Btw. the R36S is a great gameboy.I wish such a console with a 7inch screen

A lot of these cheap consoles have some kind of copyright protection to prevent the files and rooms working on a different memory card than the one supplied. Any way round this?

Trust me its a good device, especially for Gameboy advance Roms. Its small, probable and powerful.

They come with an older version of ArkOs. Instead of backing it up, it’s best to flash the most recent version.

I've got the exact same one and its easy to update to the newest version of arkos too.Theres no need for a wifi dongle just tether it to your phone hit update in the handheld options and let it go.I got a good price on mine from someone in the US too just $35 never used or opened.

I might even install emu deck and take the SD card and put it in my steamdeck sometimes maybe that will work. I just couldn't be bothered to source all the roms that can be tedious.

I really like your channel and it’s very informative but are you aware that all these consoles you review are available on Aliexpress for almost half the price. You don’t have to pay a middle man by ordering straight from the source because they all come from China and Aliexpress is based in China. Just thought I’d let you know in case you’re unaware. Different cards get made for them so that's probably accurate. Things are always changing and this video is older

I have one of these and its good value for the price. Only gripes are that it doesn't have HDMI out, the buttons are linked together with a piece of plastic for some reason which means if you press a button, the others move. Another thing is that not all mame games works so I think they've added the wrong rom set to the emulator thats on the handheld. Also one of the shoulder buttons fell off and is now loose so something has broken inside so will need to open it up and take a look.
