Allen Me: Re pocket monkey (or any other monkey): When you eat around them, make sure and that they have something. Also, if you don't want them to take your food, don't eat around them. They can be a bit "selfish" as they are in the wild. It is just one of their traits.

What kind of kids clothing company did that little girl's shirt come from? I wonder if the parents even know what it says since they're not speaking English. I also have to say that I've noticed some of the comments saying that they should discipline the monkey for always taking the little girls stuff and a couple things could be said about that....1) That monkey is a wild animal and his instincts are coming through. 2) It's still young and learning. 3) Maybe they shouldn't have a wild animal as a pet. 🤔🙄🤷

They probably figure let them do it for a video bc they won't be around that long so deal with it being uncontrollable for a short time for videos.i know I couldn't put up with it and that mom just laughs about it. It's kinda teaching the girl it's ok to do. And by their stuff she probably gets what she wants anyway.

Why do they allow the monkeys to take food right for her hands when they have their own is beyond me. That's just the beginning of domino effect of dominance. I personally would not allow that at all. Humans don't go around grabbing food from other people's plate and hands. But I don't own that monkey so .........

Buena Cass I know that ,that they share food, but when their little they wait till she gives it to a monkey but as they get older they snatch it right out her hands and darn near her mouth and they allow that. That's what I wouldn't allow. That's too much to me but like I said not my monkey. Thank you for answering me though .

EvilSteven I agree with you hands down.. Again, this isn't my monkey or daughter so they will do what they want anyway. It was cute when they were younger and your right, the monkey would wait until she would give the monkey (sharing) her food. As the monkey gets older and same with kids (they steal from each-other as kids do BUT....with a wild monkeys nature as they grow they need to be taught "a now domesticated wild animal from right from wrong" and I admit I am def not a monkey expert but I do a lot of observing with wild monkeys. Allen me is def a great parent but also def not an expert herself. Because she owns a monkey doesn't mean she's an expert. I've seen many things that I feel is natural to know is definitely wrong as far as a monkey is concerned. What I believe some don't understand is that monkeys may still be young in age, (as seen her with this young male) wearing diapers, drinking from bottles and sucking on a pacifier, and etc.. But monkeys grow SO much faster on a mental status (in monkey life) compared to human chrildren. In the wild you see a 2 month old monkey climbing tall trees, jumping a few feet in mid air from tree to tree, they then have teeth and can crack seeds open, start leaning how to groom, and so much more. A -2mo human baby is no where near the mental capacity of a monkey in monkey society, if that makes any sense...

ShannonDamnit makes total sense. I agree I think Ann's mom is a good parent from what I see and when the video s are in English ,but like you ,I still stand that the monkeys should be taught not to grab. Im pretty sure it's not Ann's mom but I saw a video where they had a poodle and a small monkey ,maybe Coco the baby , and the lady was taking little bits of white food out of a bowl in front of Coco and giving it to the dog and the the woman was telling Coco things like" the dogs taking your food ,what are you gonna do?" The monkey reared up and showed it's little teeth and snarled at the dog and the woman laughed. Yeah it's all cute when their tiny but when they grow up then they beat them or just do nothing like when they steal it right from Ann. I would never do that. You can't if you want peace between all her animals in that house. At least one lady on the Doubtings Collar ,I think ,she put the monkey up when the cat came in the room. I guess the point im getting at is you have to do things to prevent bad things when their older and they don't. I don't understand how many of us watching can see all this going on but they don't or don't care. Different cultures I guess. We think of our dogs and cats like family members and to them the monkey s are just "arm candy " to them rich young girls. Im sorry im rambling. I would just treat mine a whole lot better and it hurts me to watch these videos knowing what's going to happen and seeing poor little Ann suffer like that. the monkey is old enough to train not to grab out of a humans hand while eating! especially a child because when this monkey gets to that maturity level without that proper training with food he will get dominant when he does not get his way and use to taking and reacts even faster! he will possibly bite. hope he or the other monkeys were trained manners with snatching from someone else hand. just like an animal does not like another animal or human to come close or touch while eating naturally monkeys fend for themselves, greedy not always share even with their young sometimes of course but naturally how these animals are. so to have as pet this area and the growth of this monkey needs training now before it's too late.
