Death is the great equalizer. Whether rich or poor, young or old, powerful or unknown, no one can escape this universal reality. Once we pass from this life, we will stand before God to give an account for how we responded to His invitation of grace. This is where our eternal RSVP comes into play.
Le denominateur commun de tous les hommes est la mort. Qu’on soit riche ou pauvre, jeune ou vieux, puissant ou inconnu, personne ne peut échapper à cette réalité universelle. Une fois que nous aurons quitté cette vie, nous nous tiendrons devant Dieu pour rendre compte de la façon dont nous avons répondu à son invitation de grâce. C’est là que notre réponse éternelle ( RSVP) entre en jeu.

Very on “Point” Joe! Not only do we need to RSVP for the invitation, we also need to have proof that we belong on board. Thank you for the reminder! We just got out of the ship from a cruise. While on the ship, one thing that was very clear is at every turn, they wanted us to prove that we belonged on board. This is how the Bible puts it in Matthew 22:1-14, Jesus tells a parable about a king who notices a man without a wedding garment at his son's wedding feast. The king confronts the man, who is speechless. The king orders the servants to bind the man and throw him into the darkness.
