THE POINT BUCHON TRAIL LOS OSOS CALIFORNIA

One more hike to show you from the San Luis Obispo County area! Located in Montana de Oro State Park at the very end of the drive is the entrance to the absolutely stunning Point Buchon Trail. This trail is labeled as moderate at 8 miles round-trip and 626 feet of elevation gain. The hike takes you along one of Central California's most beautiful stretches of coastline. I start by going to the beach and into a cool sea cave! The hike continues along this gorgeous coastline with seals, birds, and even cows 🐄 everywhere! This trail is a must-do when visiting the San Luis Obispo County area!

not only was the beach itself amazing but that field of flowers on either side of the path were too, that was cool going into that cave and then seeing it from above, beautiful filming of the coast line with all the rock shapes and the blue and white colors of the ocean, you have a good week coming Eric

Seen a few places over there where it says 'no drones', always wondered why? Loved the colours, especially all the yellows but not that keen on seeing a rattlesnake or cows, much preferred the sea cave. Loved the coastline and it did get blustery the higher you went, with a very narrow trail and I would be nervous too! Cheers Alan

Yeah, you can fly a drone barely anywhere! The footage looks great, but I would barely ever use it! The sea cave is amazing! It is a beautiful coastline! Thankfully, no rattlesnakes tried to bite me on this hike! Lol 😆. Thanks, Alan!

Do you know the reason why there is so much restriction on when you can visit this area? Elevation and wind - probably why all those people turned around. Likely just looking for an easy beautiful hike. Thanks for going through the extra effort for us! Great views from the top.

Because this land is actually owned by PG&E gas and electric company. So this trail is actually on company property. They need to make sure they limit the number of people that come visit to visit to protect this area. Thanks for watching Josh.
