I always find it reassuring to listen to Chinese diplomats who speak clearly and to the point, unlike US diplomats who speak in duplicit tones. The psychology of games is built into the US rhetoric to such an extent that they are unable to speak honestly. There is always a threat, imaginary barriers, to such an extent that it brings into question their ability to ever have integrity. I welcome China's diplomatic measures to build relationships first, even with difficult, beligerant countries.

@@jonkino1931 , clearly I am not versed in China politics and geopolitics as you are. But I am very knowledgeable about US geopolitics, and I can tell you with 100% certainty that US global hegemony was/is designed, implemented and pursued with a vengeance being by bombs, economic hits or pure deceit (still is) on all countries around the World. We can sit here 'till New Year listing countries that US has destroyed one way or another in the last 70 years...or before that. where do you want to start? maybe the opium wars ? maybe the killing of hundreds of thousand of Iraqis people based on a lie ! (admitted by the Pentagon). No country's government has clean hands against its own citizens for one reason or another, but doing so with premeditation and ill intent to one country after another is evil in my books. How many military base has China around the World ? How many military bases has Russia?, India, Indonesia, ...? You are certainly right about the heartbreak and disappointment. I am native polish, and I witnessed a total destruction of Poland after US liberated us from the Soviet "Boot"... I can not find a single person over 50 remembering the "horrific" soviet times that they wouldn't like to have back... Just the other day I paid for an old lady medication that rose almost 50% in 3 months, and she did not have the extra money to cover the expense... sure... young people are enchanted with the possibilities to travel all over Europe, being "Global Citizen", having opportunity at their fingertips, but majority have to decide between their food/medicine/utilities... ...while... at the time past, under the Soviet regime, no one has such worries... So you tell me...because I know for a fact that the millions killed by ccp were sponsored and supported by the good ol' USA... There is a load of knowledge and history that is best forgotten because it does not fit today's narrative.

Some facts which have to be taken into consideration: Рelosi has been an avid anti-Сhinese 'politician' through her whole career. So basically she just hated Сhina and decided to provoke it one last time before her final retirement to the crypt. She will probably sneak into it the same way she sneaked into the island of Taiwan - without a notice and under the cover of the night. Which is also quite typical for the rest of the serpents. Interestingly enough, she has also been an anti-American 'politician'. That's because she has never worked for the people who elected her, but she was working for the banks, big corps and MIC instead. I put politician in quotation because with her net worth of some $114 million she is more of a businesswoman than anything else. Hopefully the sanctions against her will erode some of the fortunes she was able to hoard through the years. As for the visit itself, it's a clear violation of One Сhina principle. The so-called 'Taiwan Relations Act' which the U$ tried to use as a justification of the visit was passed on April 10 1979, right after the U$ broke off diplomatic relations with Taiwan and established diplomatic ties with Сhina on January 1 1979. And it completely disregards and contradicts the One Сhina principle which was agreed between the U$ and Сhina only months prior and which sits at the foundation of the Sino-U$ relations. As for why they did it, we have to note that with the loss of its hegemony over the world, the U$ has become more and more insecure, desperate and irrational. Hence why all of their recent provocations to Сhina with regards to creating anti-Сhinese prop 24/7, banning foreign companies from doing business with Сhina, kidnapping Сhinese companies leaders, starting trade wars with Сhina, sailing its war ships off the coast of Сhina, encircling it with dozens of military bases etc. etc. etc. Although the U$ is trying to use Taiwan the exact same way they have used Ukrainе, I'm glad to see that Сhina is not playing the game that the U$ wanted her to play. In fact, Сhina should further deepen its economic, cultural and people to people ties with the island of Taiwan and at the same time do its best to counter the U$ prop there. The UN already voiced its support for Сhina on the matter. In fact, the only one who took the U$ side was its small clique of client states/former colonial powers. So, overall, the U$ provocations toward Сhina have not brought them anything but a further isolation on the global stage.

Some facts wu mao's never take into consideration... The CCP is not China and China is not the CCP. Your claim that Pelosi hates China is akin to claim someone hates Germany because they hate NAZISM. Pelosi or any American politician can visit Taiwan and it DOES NOT BREAK the one-China policy! In fact, the agreements the US made to China with regards to Taiwan allows visits and even selling arms to Taiwan... unless of course you're talking about China's REVISED one-China policy that the US didn't NOT sign nor agree to where China now says it can INVADE Taiwan if "peaceful" settlement doesn't work. The agreement the US which China accepted at the time was, China would NOT invade! So today with China threatening to invade now for years, how can you say China hasn't changed the agreement and no longer sticks to status-quo? You can't! You claim the UN voice support for China on the matter on Taiwan... but in fact the UN voiced support for the CCP to be the sole government of China and no documents or vote has ever supported China taking control of Taiwan particularly with an invasion. But yet you keep pushing that lie. You talk about Pelosi's wealth then suggest somehow, she is more a "businesswoman" but you won't comment on the fact that Putin and Xi who entered office being poor are now BILLIONAIRES!! HYPOCRISY MUCH? Then you go on to suggest the US is being irresponsible and creating instability in the region and China. This is the same China that draws a ridiculous line around a map claiming the entire South China Sea, threatens Taiwan, claims neighboring countries territories, and illegally fishes in their waters all the while IGNORING that it has NO SUPPORT from the UN on this territorial theft mainly because its breaks international laws, agreements signed such as UNCLOS and even a Hague ruling against China. DOES CHINESE HYPOCRISY EVER STOP?

The age of profit, wealth, control and capital has and is waning. In this New Time, where a global conflogration threatens an overpopulated world, we must look away from greed of profit, wealth, control and capital into a world where we value more the harmony, peace, love and freedom of ourselves and our fellows such that we can solve our worldly problems not with hate but in mutual respect of one another as well as mutual cooperation in advancing Earthly human society.

@@covertpuppytwo3857 The operative word here is harmony. Just like any orchestra that has a lot of different t instruments, if nations cannot work with each other then it's disharmonious. If mainland China like you are claiming is disharmonious, then it would have long ago invaded Taiwan as well as enforced its own China policy into Hong Kong. However, Hong Kong not only adheres to China law but of British one as well - don't really see something like this in the West, where even today, there is a Hong Kong and a Taiwan living with Mainland China. So if we want to understand the word "harmony" used outside the context of music, then China is a better example of this than say the US or Europe (the European Union). But in order to see harmony, we must also see harmony within our own lives. Are we in harmony with our fellow human beings, those we interact with every day? Are we in harmony with our husband, wife, brother, sister, cousin, friend, neighbor, law enforcement officer, stranger, grocery employee, etc? Or do we instead just "believe" whatever the news say about another, be they Chinese, Russian,Ukrainian, Yankee, Sweden, Arabian, etc.? If we just 'believe' the narrative being pushed and have others believe what they must because those talking heads in the news say we must, then what are we then other than useful idiots. Used by those who gain profit through the stock market and warmongering - those who steal tax-payer dollars to be used not for its people and folk but to build 'bridges to nowhere. While keeping us distracted and confused with the notion and fear of the next 'enemy of the week'. China nor Russia are the enemy, I would argue. Nor are the talking heads in the news or even those who profit from the stock market and those who causes crisis. If we want to really know who or what the true enemy is, then we have to look within ourselves. That part of us that is stuborn and conceit, conditioned to hate others because we are bred to hate, be apathetic and cause harm to others because we have not learned what the teue meaning of harmony is - as well as the true meaning of love, peace and freedom. For if we do know what love, peace, freedom and harmony is, then we would not be pushed into a "belief" and "faith" to either loving or hating the Russian, Chinese, European or American folk and governments. Since if we know the real true values of peace, freedom, harmony and love, we would and could see the value of our fellow man and woman. How can we be harmonious, if we do not even know what harmony is? So we must observe life and be attentive. Stop believing and start consciously thinking for ourselves independently and individually so that we can learn. Hence in this new age, this New Time, greed for money, wealth, power and control would be at an end. Because how can it be otherwise in an overpopulated world, where we are being kept apathetic, indifferent hateful and racist, where each of our wants, needs and desires, our necessities is so very linked to every where else in different countries. There can only be one desolate solution if we keep on hating each other, i.e, disharmonious. Hence we must change thus we must observe, be attentive and learn what love is; what harmony is; as well as know the true meanings of peace and freedom. To become wise, we must gain and develop wisdom, knowledge and understanding as well as logic, intellect and rationality.

The gap between strategic level provocation and strategic level cooperation is something that the U.S. needs to examine in order to move from the former to the latter.

Wow,I respect this man-guts, resolve and forthright.Surely the US must be ashamed of itself on the face of such facts ! But Greece fell, Rome fell,Soviet fell and the US is on its way down the ditch and that, of its own doing and pride before the huge fall.

The Quad nations designed to contain China may fail if economic ties stregthen over time. China, India and Japan take a long view that's not based upon short term election cycles. The issue is not a regional one but rather East vs West.

What is most impressive is the avoidance of use of violence and attack Taiwan, which is a reaffirmation of one china policy. A country does not atack itself?unlike other countries who are inconsistent in their policies?

Peloci and USA are one body. Presidents of USA are the highest body of authority. However, the USA politicians are the culprits for disrespecting the one China principle and acting in subordination to it's obligation held by the highest authority of USA. If they think they can simply changed international obligations irresponsibly then why bother to preach and have it in the first place. Peloci has breach the one China principles when she forcefully landed in Taiwan as the airspace she entered into are China territory and airspace. When she made the statement at the pulpit declaring Taiwan a country, that's a violation to the same principles and the obligations is broken by her.

Can you tell us in which foreign nation that hosts an American military base... the government of that nation doesn't WANT the US military there? Maybe you should focus on why nations like South Korea, Japan, Germany, etc, etc, etc wants American military bases because of aggressive and bullying nations like China and Russia!

Think about this, Party A and B had an agreement that C doesn't represent any independent decision or B and C is part of B management and/or subsidiary. Therefore whatever A or anyone wanted to deal with C must obtain consent from B. After this agreement was signed then A sign another agreement with C saying that A will still deal with C but C don't declare any official representation. Wasn't this a breach of agreement by Party A failing to honor and adhere to the terms and conditions including their commitment to B, no? Can party A be trusted for any agreement, promise or expectation to honor their word and commitment?
