I found a way to make Charles fit in Japanese copies where there’s a 5 space limit in the names. Make it “チャールズ” See, チャ is CHA, ー is added after チャ (CHA) to make CHAA, ル is RU which is used for L, and ズ is ZU. so チャールズ = CHAARUZU, which romanized is Charles
