if 10 year old me was told to describe a pidgeon i would probably make it so it can go 30 bajillain kilometers per hour and shoots lazers

I think what people tend to forget is that the Pokémon world isn't the real world. Something that seems ridiculous, like Macargoo, just works in the Pokémon universe because different rules and evolution traits apply. Heck, they tend to forget people in the Pokémon world are technically one in the same to Pokémon, even to the point where they turn into them. Not to mention, Legends Arceus shows that Pokedex entries are based on real discovery and studies.

This. For example, some of the Pokedex entries say that Macgargo is as hot as lava (such as Crystal and Emerald) and some of the entries say that it is approximately 18,000 degrees F hot (such as Sapphire and Platinum). So it can be concluded that the lava in the Pokemon world is roughly 18,000 degrees F hot according to the scale they use in the Pokemon world. And we don't even know if the F in the game means Fahrenheit, it could, for example, be a scale based on Flamigo's stomach energy. 🤔

My theory on wailord is that it physically has to swim itself up to the surface to take in air to gain buoyancy and whenever it needs to dive down it just lets out as much air as is needed to get to the depth it needs to be at while still having enough that it won't take TOO much energy to swim itself back to the surface

Wailord makes a lot more sense if it has cavities that it can fill with either water OR air, depending on how dense it wants to be. Filled with water, it just becomes like a regular sea creature and can swim up or down with muscle power. When it wants to relax at the surface, it partially fills with air. It can survive outside of water without being crushed (unlike real whales) by filling them completely with air, which is probably where it was weighed.

What if jiggly puff is like a hot air balloon and super heats the air reducing The density. Thats not hair on its head, thats a small tube for letting out the heated air slowly like a baloon

its possible that rather than releasing air to sink/dive, Wailord, a water type Pokemon, takes on a large amount of water to become heavier. or perhaps some see the Wailord as half full, some see it half empty. lol

You are slightly wrong about Jigglypuff. In Scarlet and Violet, if the weather is windy, the Jigglybuffs will fly away with the wind.

I just thought of this. If a boat floats while whole why does it sink when damaged? Does it's density somehow increase?
@TheChiptide5 ай бұрын
Yeah, if it gets a hole in the hull, it can take on water, which weighs it down. The reason ships float is because they’re mostly hollow, not because of the density of the material!

In order to fly, Jigglypuff's gotta puff up like a marshmallow in a microwave. On an unrelated note- do you think a Jigglypuff would fit inside a standard microwave?
@TheChiptide4 ай бұрын
Well, it's over a foot and a half tall, but if you've got a decently sized microwave I think you've got a decent shot

could jiggly puff really be not a balloon pokemon but a vacuum balloon pokemon, like the vacuum balloon air ship?
@Known_as_The_Ghost4 ай бұрын
"Wailord can't swim" Counterargument; Wailord can just... inhale water. And then it's the whole Jigglypuff inhaling thing all over again, but with water instead of air. This is of course, assuming wailord is literally mostly air and can displace it with water.

Not to be *that* person, but when you said Jigglypuff can’t learn any Flying type moves, that’s not exactly true. Gen 4 through 7, Jigglypuff could learn the Flying type move “Bounce” via Move Tutor, and in Gen 8, they could learn Bounce via TM52. For some reason, even though Bounce is still a move in Gen 9, it was taken away from the Jigglypuff line. What’s really weird is that Pokémon in the same Egg Group, the evolution lines of Azumarill and Jumpluff CAN still learn Bounce via level up in Gen 9, but can no longer pass Bounce along to the Wigglytuff line. So weird…

I'm very confused by your subscriber to view ratio. 26k subs and only a couple thousand views per video? Doesn't make sense to me. Hang in there dude
@TheChiptide5 ай бұрын
That’s actually pretty standard, most channels only get 10-15% of their sub count in views per video, unless something goes viral or something. But we’re getting there!
