I'm in Kent and I've met too many stupid people like these. The security guard's juristiction ended at his barrier, he lied or was ignorant about it being a private road the road belonged to the Borough of Swale as did the road to the right where you parked your bike. They needs a person more suited to a public facing role than this character, he brings his company into disrepute. Kent Police took a month to show up when I photographed a quad bike riding at speed on the pavement and suffered robbery and was body slammed, then they never prosecuted the miscreants. Keep coming to Kent the Police are really incompetent, it's not safe to walk on Blue Bell Hill or visit public open spaces due to illegal motorbikes.

If you remember Random Outings, some big bully boy literally walked right up to him on camera and grabbed/stole his microphone, and then walked off, and it was all recorded. Did police arrest him when they turned up? Of course not, enforcing the law and doing their job is too much paperwork/hassle and KZbinrs are just trouble makers anyway so why would they bother? ( There's another video where something very similar happens to Northern Audits with one of his cameras which was damaged in the process, same story. (I believe in both instances they were just asked to come in for a 'voluntary interview', which is an absolute joke when you've been caught stealing on camera) That shotgun comment was made privately over radio, without thinking anyone else would hear, so she can just brush it off as a joke. Police wouldn't do sweet F A if he complained about it and he knows that. In fact, MANY companies have threatened to ACTUALLY shoot down drones to the auditors' faces - ON VIDEO - and nothing ever happens to them either. If you are an auditor or even just a regular KZbinr, do not expect British police to enforce the law against people who commit crimes against you or your property. Having followed for some time, this one got me to pay the subscription. It never ceased to amaze me what you get to hear with a basic two way radio receiver in my former existence. People pretending to be 'security' whilst using 'common' frequencies are [in my considered opinion] ignorant arrogant and the sort of people who make shocking shotgun threats as 'jokes'. Just as a side point next to Bretts is Fortis, and the grey piles you see are ash from the incinerators that burn black bag council waste that is not recyclable to create energy. This is then processed and used as a sub base on developments and concreted or tarmacked over, the by product of energy renewal being re used. It's perfect recycling in my opinion. My knowledge is from working in the industry and they have a facility in Andover where the unprocessed ash comes from Southampton and Portsmouth and other energy recovery facilities (ERF's) to be processed and re used.

This isn't correct. DJ is actually required by law (specifically UK GDPR and DPA 18) to identify himself and/or his channel to anyone who he captures in any of his footage. He is also required to tell them his reason for processing their personal data and provide a point of contact so they can exercise their rights. This is generally something most auditors get wrong, and most of the time, I dare say it's willful ignorance due to the risk of KZbin taking videos down if a subject was to report the videos. Although in this video, DJ actually did get it mostly right (I say mostly because there is some debate to be had around the journalism exemption and if DJ should be redacting the identity of the employee's he captures in his videos, though this is entirely subjective). Learn the law and understand your rights ladies and gents, don't just believe what someone with a camera tells you. 👍

I'll bet that's the (lying) security guards (who's not your friend) busiest day he's had since he started working there. First of all it was a priority call that the police were going to attend, then they they started commenting about wether the police were going to turn up at all. Was that the guards mother he kept reporting to?? The only ones being wrong about the laws of this country, being aggressive, disrespectful, insulting, ignorant, threatening etc were the guard and the two foriegn workers who knew NOTHING but still charged ahead. The (mother) on the radio was as stupid as it's possible to be, " he can't take pics and video of anybody without their permission, it's an offense" all the while following you around with a security camera. Wow.

I think you conducted yourself pretty well. The only slightly confusing thing for anyone without knowledge of the industry is that the majority of the dust that you encountered was from Country Style, not Brett’s, who were the original subject of the video. As far as I have seen, you didn’t actually have any contact with any Brett’s employees, or have any ground level footage of their operations until you accessed the footpath by the river at the back, where you viewed the cement loading silos. Dust from this particular operation is very well managed, as cement dust can be a lot more dangerous to health than wood chip etc. I just wanted to let people know that most of the subject of this video was not Brett’s, who deal with aggregate, cement and building materials, but Country Style and their contractors’ operations. I’m not affiliated to any of the companies, but have worked with aggregates in the past. Keep up the good videos 😊👍🏻

I love your content, DJ Audits. It's fantastic what you are doing to educate the people you talk to about the laws regarding the use of a drone and piloting and what you can actually record to video. I love how you stand your ground and push back the ignorance that many people have towards drones in use today, what footage drone pilots actually record, and where they operate. As a pilot, you know the law inside out about where you can fly safely and millions of people don't. And that gives you power and confidence in your ability and the police sense that the moment they start talking to you when they turn up... in this case, they didn't, but even if they did, it still would have been a wasted journey on their part if you ask me because you have that area already covered and under your belt. P.s I'm a drone pilot myself and find your content is highly entertaining and engaging. Cheers

Public footpaths loop the perimeter of Ridham Dock and along the river up to the dock slip. Kent Public Right of Ways shows it includes various sign posts, gates and concrete steps. Also a footpath across the marshes to the south. Footpath is part of the Saxon Shore Road that follows the Kent coast. Ridham Dock developed in early 1900s to service the Kemsley paper mill to the south. Much of the west half was railway sidings seen at 20:50. The 2-bay long warehouse dates to WW2. Combined Heat and Power plant constructed 2013 on the southeast corner seen at 34:15 from the public footpath. Streets are listed as mixed responsibility and open to the public around and south, allow access to public footpaths; the section past the gate is the private road.
