On a side note, were you aware that Copeland is half Scottish from his mum's side? I found this out only a couple of years ago but was still not sure. Dunno how the Scottish press at the height of their success never picked up on that one.

@@SMITH-lw3rv Yes Stewart’s mum was from Edinburgh! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿The police of course was Stewart’s band: His idea, his name, his vision and creative energy with Miles and Ian having been intrinsic to the success of the Police after Stewart pulled Stingo out of Newcastle and gave him his first major break in showbiz. Some of the best police songs were those written by Stewart: Darkness, Does Everyone Stare, Contact, etc, etc. A truly amazing musician and a powerhouse of talent who was the primary driving force behind the band and always will be! ☃️🍷.
