Another great video, Dennis. I listen to a podcast called the Rockonteurs and they have had Stewart on twice. He's a great interview, funny and honest. He talked about how the band got therapy, how much he and Sting care about each other, and yes.....simply can't work together musically. Way too different in their artistic personalities.

Nice! I've been a huge fan of The Police for years yet there were quite a few things presented here that I hadn't heard before. Cool!

McCartney became like Sting in the last years of The Beatles. He had everything already figured out and arranged in his head and wasn't open to anyone else's ideas. In fairness, Sting and Paul's visions were pretty good.

In the early 80’s and beyond, the Police were everywhere and on every awards show. Would they have been even bigger if they would have gotten along better? vOr was their success built on the fact there was contention? Seems like a theme with many great bands. And I'm sure 105 shows in less than 2 years would drive anyone nuts.

Sting comes off as mister wonderful, a pure calm meditating hippie, but in reality he was a jock bully....Especially against Andy Summers, who was meeker and less capable of verbal self-defense than Copland.
