Dillon Donovan It's from chapter 22. I highly recommend you do NOT read this until you actually reach it in the story, you'll spoil one of the most important parts in the fanfic if you do. Even the beginning of this chapter is incredibly spoiler-heavy. But yeah, to answer your question: it's chapter 22.

I could not stop laughing. I love grimdark, I've reread PH probably 6 times at this point (ebooks, and it's my go-to daily rereader), and this breaks EVERYTHING about it. I fuckin' love this so much.
@warbalist11 жыл бұрын
Ha! Good, thank you. 6 times?! Egads, how fast do you read?
@cgunugc11 жыл бұрын
Pretty fast. It helps I only have u p to chapter 46 on my ebook, so every time I get to the "end" I curse a bit, think "Why am I still reading this! I know every part! Why would I reread this again?", wait a couple of weeks, and restart it. Also, in highschool, and we've had a lot of snow days. Okay, I have to ask. You're the first decent country artist I've heard of who knows FoE, and I have to ask for a modern bluegrass version of of Blackjack's Whiskey song. Pretty please with a [](/bjinabowl) on top?
@warbalist11 жыл бұрын
Well, thank you. Country (the old stuff anyway) is something that's in my blood. Grew up with it. I actually wrote a treatment of "Whiskey" at least...a year ago? I've since stopped supporting PH, so I probably won't be releasing it, buuuuut I dunno.

I've had an idea for dark ambient, and have had a rough track planned out. Starting with mechanical and electric sounds for all the projects and tests in Hoofington. As the machinery gets more abrasive, a creeping high-pitched theremin as Enervation is added, which peaks before retreating into the background. Lastly a throbbing pulse as a heartbeat for the Eater of Souls sleeping in the core, mixing radiation, plasma, pulsar, and black hole samples from a radio telescope for that alien feel.

Thanks! Fallout: Equestria is one of the most bizarre things I've read. I hadn't read a fanfic since the baby steps of the internet and I swore off them for years. It was such a weird idea, though, I had to read it. I laughed through the first three chapters at the dissonances between the two settings. Then the story got really good really fast. This song is from Project Horizons which I enjoyed reading until it started playing shark hopscotch.

It's not that I think it's the greatest thing in the universe, but rather I couldn't get the story out of my head. When that happens I simply must accomplish the task my mind has ordered me to do. It's why I made this persona/channel. My main gig is guitar playing, teaching and composition, so I suppose I'm pretty boring: my work is also my hobbies. XD And awesome. Vacations in places you know nothing about? That sounds marvelous! Yeegh, Couchtavia sounds like something not meant for my tablet. Pink Eyes is my favorite of the FO:E universe. I won't say anything about it, but you'll know what it will be like by the end of the first chapter. It's the perfect palate cleanse after the original FO:E before you dive into ultra-violence and the like. BTW: I'm writing one, too. Fertile Ground. It's like a political drama, I suppose.

Just one thing I have to say about the lyrics (which, if I understand correctly are not yours) is that in The Tyger, the lack of rhyme in the first stanza is notable in itself. Both the third and fourth line APPEAR to rhyme, ending in eye and -try, but the word symmetry is what ends up breaking the symmetry of the verse. And then, at the end, the last stanza is the same but for one word- in the same line as the word symmetry. Unfortunately, this version loses that cool little bit of structure.
