The Pony Express was a Disaster until I used this Trick...

I took on the Pony Express and I should have been more prepared. It was headed for a big disaster with my horse Harley until I did this one simple trick! Who would have thought that Duct tape could have saved my horse riding experience on the Pony Express!

I lived in Tucson from 1974 to 1990. I didn’t know anything about the pony express ride. I would have loved to see it, but my ex-husband didn’t have the love of horses that I did and we argued over the horse and animals. He never understood that I needed animals for therapy. I pray that Vicky gets better quickly. She’s such a sweet person.

Maybe there are other things to do, for the love of horses 😊 It seems more like a tradition, that are more fun, fore the horses. All that heavy traffic.. Also a very hard grund, especially if there not used to it.

@annlatrinhellvis you need to watch the videos of them preparing the horses to be safe, special shoes,work outs and more. There are many things to do with horses and this is w one of them. More if not all of the horses probably enjoyed it, because they like doing things like this.

Something scary that I did was I gave a speech in front of 285 people at my son's wedding.

25 years ago I was riding in unfamiliar terrain up from the barn and arena. I started down an embankment that was proving to be steeper than I had first thought. I couldn't turn back so had to trust my horse and my rider skills to get us both down to a safer area. We made it but I was so shaken I got off and hand walked him in the rest of the way. Lesson learned. Thanks for the great video and congratulations to all the riders. What a fun event. Were all the horses shod?

I learned how to drive a 18 wheeler back in 1998🫨🤯😬. I was so frightened to the point of my hands would sweat badly. I then had to wear garden gloves to absorb all the moisture from my hands. 😮

I wondered how they staged the horses ahead of time ahead of their grabbing of the mail bag. They must use trailers more than what they’re letting us know. Not to hide but it’s not important. Is what I’m thinking. I would love to know how it’s done. You can’t have some horses leaving at five in the morning to get ahead of their time to grab the mail bag so they must be trailered?????

could put an air pid on your halter when trail riding incase your seperated so you could track any escape artist. als some refective tape across the back of your saddle cantle and across the back of your shirts is safer.

It is nature’s antibiotic, it’s antiviral and anti fungal!!! Good for topical use on cuts, burns etc!!! Hope Vickie recovered quickly!!!
