I groom my own toy poodle because he had such a traumatic experience with the last groomer-and it was a recommendation--but watching you I certainly would let you groom my baby. You show compassion towards the dogs when you groom them .

Finally I get to see how the bottom of the legs should look. When their hair isn't combed and bathes, the hair looks odd to me and I can never get it the way I want. I've been doing straight legs, but now I see the shape you are doing and it looks great. I love when you leave the hair longer like that.

i do all of that daily (comb, and brush teeth). Then when needed I trim her eye and nose area and her mouth when she starts to get hair in her mouth. Doing this helps with just more that maintenance/hygiene. My dog loves the time with me, and it teaches her to tolerate grooming, and she loves it as part of her daily routine. It also helps the groomers out. They always tell me she's so good and sweet. It has been one of the best things I've done for Lucy (Shih-poo). I would like to buy one of those arms with the harness on it for when I actually shave her. I don't shave often but usually use clippers, but still even though shes good on the counter without a harness, sometimes she moves her head around too much for me - but usaally when she's decided i've spent too long on her.

My goodness! That toy poodle puppy is teeny! I really stress about doing toy poodles because it's harder to groom them nicely when they're so tiny.
