No they are not and the cooling is a stocker non RGB on the Chip and a single 90mm at the rear and the one on the GPU...see my above post very not impressed with this machine over all for the price. At 500 maybe as a re case add fans is required.

IF YOUR INTERESTED IN THIS DESKTOP READ HERE - This is the one I have right now. It's also my first Gaming Desktop and I chose it for a reason. Although this HP Pavilion only comes with a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 but it also has AMD Ryzen 5 2400 Vega Processor as well. And yes it's a smaller sized Compact Desktop tower. Sleek black and Has a Cool Neon Green Slit down the middle. Even in 2019 this Desktop kicks ass. It will for years to come. I actually got a bundle when I got mine. I got the HP Pavilion tower itself as well as HP 30 inch Monitor, HP Omen Keyboard, Omen Headset, Omen mouse, Omen mouse pad... All in one stop. Although I switched my mouse and headset months later to a Corsair M65 Pro and headset to a Plantronics RIG 500E. But The HP Omen Products were just fine. As far as The HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop goes, There are a few to choose from as this model here is As far as I know the first one HP made. Or one of the first. They were trying to get into the gaming scene with this one. And they did a great job. With all the new graphics cards that are out and with insanely high price tags no wonder everyone is looking for better deals. If your worried about If it will run a game you like don't worry. At all actually. I Record Gaming videos for my channel and I play graphic heavy intense games like planetside 2 and Skyrim and Mechwarrior Online. It's also well known when most people record a video your frames tend to drop. Well No fear! Because Since this has an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 you can use Nvidia Shadowplay. And I was using bandicam for years. Nvidia Shadowplay doesn't seem to affect my frame rate. And it's free for all Nvidia Users. Getting your first Gaming Desktop is special. And I'm all about rooting for the under dogs. I love mine. I even named it. Your going to get great performance out of it too. And if your not planning on recording while gaming then your going to get even better performance. As he said it is Smaller than most desktop towers. Not too small but just enough to where if you wanted to take this with you on your next vacation or roadtrip you can. Now isn't that something all desktop owners wish they could do?

Did he say the one in the video was a Nvidia GeForce GTX1050 with AMd Ryzen 5 Processor? Or does this have an AMD Graphics card and Intel Processor? Either way make sure to look at what HP put inside of it. As I have seen 3 to 4 different types of this same Desktop. Outside looks the same but the inside is different. If you see one That has an Nvidia graphics card and AMD Ryzen processor get it. I'm not sure how well AMD Graphics cards are that's why I stick with AMD Processors. And Nvidia GTX Cards. Also HP Just put out some new Omen Desktops and laptops and they have made a bunch of different Omen Desktops last year too. Lots of options. But if I may Give one last tip. If you decide to get a computer with an Nvidia GeForce GTX Card in it and can Find one with a good price tag try to get the GTX1050TI ( Runs faster than the regular GTX1050) or GTX 1060 through GTX 1080. Sometimes you'll see that A higher graphics card might not even cost that much more.. I heard the GTX 1050Ti is Definitely worth it. And the 1060 is good and 1080 is awesome. Anyways. If you do get a regular Nvidia GTX1050 like me you still will have a killer gaming PC. And guess what. When I decide I want to get a newer GTX Card or even RTX Card I can just take my 1050 out and put the new one in. 😎 I played on low end crappy laptops for my whole life basically. And I always dreamed of a gaming Desktop or laptop of my own. Honestly desktop. And last year I snapped. I couldn't take it anymore. The low FPS from my junky laptop was insane. Unplayable some games. Most games. So I went out and just got one. Didn't even have but like $50 in my pocket. Made a deal with a store. And made weekly payments on it til it was mine. @@santmc12 well the one I have Is the HP Pavilion Desktop that has both AMD and Nvidia inside of it. If you can get one like mine but with a newer Nvidia Graphics card I would do that. For example. My Graphics card is Nvidia GeForce GTX1050. And my processor is the AMD Ryzen 5. The two pair so we'll together and Since they have made newer models of The HP Pavilion Gaming Desktops look for one that has like either a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050ti , GTX 1060, GTX 1080 (really amazing card) And if you see one of those paired with an AMD Ryzen Processor get it. Also don't let the expensive newest graphics cards let you think the older ones are not good. The GTx 1050 ti is way more affordable. But if you have to choose between an Nvidia or AMD graphics card definitely go with Nvidia.

This PC is a fantastic value for the money on paper. I was thinking about purchasing but the seriously poor quality of the internal parts held me back. I work at Best Buy and had the chance to pop it open and many of the parts don't use heat shrouds and HP makes it more challenging to make your own upgrades. If you don't want to build a PC or like the extended warranty go for it but if you want the best quality, value for your money, and upgrade-ability build your own PC.

This is the exact one I got 4 months ago so if your wondering how it is let me tell you. So mine is an HP Pavilion Desktop with Nvidia GEFORCE GTX 1050/AMD Ryzen 5 2400 Vega. I'm pretty sure this is the same one. Looks exactly the same. And it's awesome. Mine came with Omen Products too. Omen Headset mouse and Omen Keyboard. The Keyboard Is Really really nice and it has that Cherry MX Blue Type of Sound. If you like that Clickity click sound of the keys it's great. Only downside is if you stream or Record it can get loud. Make sure to see if you can get The Desktop Bundle. Not sure if HP is still doing it. But Literally I got The Desktop, Monitor, Headset, Mouse, Keyboard and mouse pad all in one stop. This is my first desktop and I needed one for my channel to Up my content qaulity. I played on a low end laptop basically since I can remember. And I had enough. I needed a desktop but not something that was gonna be insanely expensive. This is the answer. try to get the one that has the Nvidia GeForce GTX card along with AMD ryzen 5 sometimes they have different things in them look at that one It's a great Desktop. I recommend it

It's definitely not a bad little budget gaming PC at all.. but it all depends on the model you go with because if you go with the lowest and cheapest model you might not get the best experience out of your games to be honest. and that happened with somebody I knew they want with the cheaper model and it turned out the CPU was the issue so we upgraded the CPU and that made all the difference in that computer. I mean sometimes it would struggle to keep a 60fps and I knew the GPU was capable of playing the games they wanted to play. Turns to find out it was actually the CPU that was the issue because it came with a ryzen 5 2400 G 4 core CPU then we upgraded it to a Ryzen 5 2600 6 core processor and I'll tell you what that made a huge difference because the same game that was struggling to keep 60fps and now keeps a 60FPS and we also upgraded the ram from 8 to 16 and had a single-channel 8GB stick now it's got dual channel 2x 8GB sticks giving it a total of 16 GB

agreed, i have the ryzen 5 and i have to lower the 3d res on fortnite to about 60% to keep it from stuttering too much. It does run fine at around 90-110 frames on 100% res, but it stutters, especially in build fights.

What you should do is try upgrading the ram it probably has a single slot stick of 8GB of RAM. If I was you I would purchase a 16 gig of RAM so purchase yourself to 8GB sticks of RAM. Which would give you a total 16GB of ram. games and most programs run a lot better when you run your RAM in daul channel rather than single channel. In most games you can actually take a performance loss by running your RAM in single channel. Some games can actually be affected buy up to 20 FPS lose just because of single channel. I have the GTX 1060 version of this PC as soon as I upgraded my ram from single channel 8 GB to 2x 8 GB sticks dual channel giving me a total of 16 GB ram I noticed just a big performance jump just by doing that. My games felt more responsive and I even gained about 10 to 20 FPS more in some games. If you really wanted to upgrade the GPU in this PC I would go with the GTX 1660 TI graphics card. If you have the same model this guy reviewed then you have the RX 580 which is a 4GB graphics card in this PC however they do have a RX 580 8GB model but this HP pavilion gaming desktop comes with a model. As long as you have a 400 watt power supply then I would recommend upgrading to a GTX 1660 TI graphics card. That card is under $300 and is a 6GB graphics card. And it's pretty much on power with a GTX 1070. Which I believe the GTX 1070 is faster than the RX 580. But the 1660 TI is pretty much on power with a GTX 1070. so I would upgrade those two things that I mentioned GPU and your RAM.

Well this computer comes with HDMI, DisplayPort and DVI. I own this very same exact PC but mine has a GTX 1060 in it. With a ryzen 5 2600 6 core processor. the only modification I made to it was I upgraded the ram from 8GB to 16 GB

I have an HP Pavilion 790-0031 Gaming Desktop, but my hard drive space is running low. Since more harddrives can't be attached to the Berx mobo, I want to ask if it is possible to clone the HDD to bigger drive like a 4 TB or larger AND still use it in the same PC (like removing the harddrive I am currently using and swapping it for the larger). Is this possible? Will the mobo and processor and copy of windows recognize the new harddrive and still work perfectly or should I just get a better gaming pc that allows users to upgrade parts?

Got this on sale for $800 for my birthday. The case makes it look like a bad slow pc but I give it 10/10 the quality is amazing and fast. If you are looking for a pc for your kid or just want a cheap but good one this one is the one you want.

I actually own this same exact gaming PC. Except mine is the Ryzen 5 2600 6 core processor and a GTX 1060 GPU as the graphics. the only modification I made to this PC was I upgraded the RAM from 8GB to 16 GB dual channel RAM. Because when I bought it only had a single a stick of RAM of 8GB now it has 2x 8GB sticks of RAM making it a total of 16 GB so far this computer has been performing very well for the games I play. I'm able to play Fortnite at 90-100 fps on epic settings or a game like GTA V on vary high settings at 70 to 80 FPS or call of duty world war II because I don't own Black ops 4 yet for it but anyway with the world war I get around 100 FPS on high settings at 1080p with all of these games.
