Beautiful song. The entire concept of a Climate Vigil album, though, is an affront to the Maker. He gives the rain. He knows the days. He causes the sun to rise and set each day and our stewardship, good or poor, contributes nothing to the 'existential threat' to the peoples of the Earth. Be a good steward, surely. But don't give in to the global political nonsense that is actually causing many to lose their flourishing because of green ideas that aren't as green as they advertise. What a shame, Porter's Gate...

How can you say that our actions and stewardship - good or poor - don't cause any threat to the peoples of the Earth? If we drop an atomic bomb on someone, that doesn't cause them any threat or damage? Or are you saying that God never lets anything bad happen to anyone - especially not to "good people"? Just because God is real and ultimately in control doesn't mean that people don't hurt or kill each other, and doesn't make those action less evil. In this case, we're hurting and killing people with our pollution - both the smog type, and the poisons type, and the too-many-greenhouse-gases released into the air type of pollution.
