This is a pretty progressive and compassionate portrayal of BPD. It's a bit problematic to frame it in a romance. In real life this ML is the BIGGEST red flag. Its a change of music away from being a psychological horror at the start. However, this is dramaland and and the sweet moments and great chemistry make this a recommended watch.

I know this isn't everyones cup of tea but I absolutely felt every emotion the ML displayed, he portrayed a person suffering from Bipolar disorder and fixated on one person as their lifeline perfectly, his stalking, obsessive and possessive nature though too much but I felt if only the FL could have taken time to know him from the onset maybe it wouldn't come across like an obsession of a mad man 😅😂😂. The FL was rather unfair to him, he gave and gave and gave and the FL didn't see or try to put herself in his shoes 😢, I loved MLs friend, that's a true friend, a brother through thick and thin, absolutely lovely 😊. I disliked FLs friend, she thought she was helping but she was just add-in salt to injury 😢. I liked it and I recommend it 😊. Cheers mates 🤗

Agreed. He has a great friend . She just was not getting the picture. He made it safe for her He just didn't know how to show his it in a different manner. But he do love her she just don't know all the things he did for her. She just thought shut happened out of thin air. He didn't want to have to tell her what he did he wanted her to feeling for him not the thi gs he did for her❤😊 that is true love to hide in the background and watch and help from a distance ❤😊

If that was me I would freak out also. Eventhough he is handsome and rich but if he will be the reason I will be bullied I would also stay as far away as I could. I would rather maintain and preserve my peace of mind and safety. This ML is obsessed and scary. The FL's best friend is also no good. She always makes trouble.

@@skylarerin5826 It's because normally in South Asia stalking is not considered a crime. 9 out of 10 cases the police doesn't even file a case if it's a stalking case. It's already a codified law but police doesn't care about these things. Maybe they'll call the accused and then release them within a hour. It's a cultural thing 😢

一開始看男主真的很恐怖情人…但看到中段得知是因為他不善表達和錯誤的方式讓女主感到害怕，後來兩人逐漸了解與釋懷、互相治癒。❤ 終於不是爭奪家產、玉珮誤認、綠茶陷害、身世之謎之類的老套情節，光是這點就值得看啦！👍🏻

A different and complicated drama. The handsome Ml played the overly obsessed, possessive and jealous pursuer of the Fl and the pretty Fl played the smart, resilient and somewhat stubborn focus of the Ml's affection very well. The Fl's bestie seemed to persuade the Fl to go out to bars with her knowing it would cause trouble with the Ml. I liked the Ml's friend who was his friend and voice of reason. I liked that the producer showed how both the Ml and Fl suffered from psychological trauma, but each handled it differently. I admired that the Ml had secretly helped the Fl and her parents since high school. It was fitting that after the misunderstandings, fears and psychological difficulties were faced, the Ml and Fl could finally find mutual love.Ww

I don’t know what others see wrong , to me aside being a little extra possessive, I think the ML was amazing, he loved her and was ready to do almost anything except share her with another man, which totally makes sense! All the negative things that were on him turned out to be misunderstandings and for every time he didn’t trust a person, they turn out to be bad, even the guy that changed school was taking pics of girls underskirts, the lawyer who was her boss was married yet in a relationship with the annoying secretary, ML protected her quietly, took care of her parents with no expectations, good thing her parents were great people, his mental disorder was usually triggered by excessive emotions but she was his switch buttons, which shows how much he loved her, overall I enjoyed it, no skipping at all, I recommend this one

you should watch the whole video, fl actually mentions she couldn't come back to her hometown for 10 whole years (she says because of that she couldn't meet her parents more and didn't know her father was sick and got surgery) or date other dude because of him. that is downright red flag. I mean your standards get much more generous in drama world but still.

She only distanced herself and didn’t want to associate with him after the harassment she received from the roommates. She was only scarred from the bullying which at the end of the day is not his faults. And if you actually watch till the end, she actually did date someone else during that 10 years. All in all, she was scared of the harassment she received of being associated with him not him per se.

@@razzledazzle7997 she didn't actually date other dude, if you listen closely to their lines they say he was "going to confess and went abroad to study". it shows she could have dated him if he stayed but he did not. also fl's friends says "you can't date no one because of ml". it means ml has a big part of fl's no date life. also if only bullying was her issue she would have dated him AFTER 10 years when they met again but she didn't. it took long ass time for her to even considering liking him (even when she married him she didn't like him) that might have much to do bullying she took because of him but that is not entirely true, she knew of his obsessions and that was one of the main problems. if bullying was only thing she could have gone back to hometown after college years since she doesn't have to meet those bullies but she did not because of him. she liked him back in the days yes, but after she knew about his obsession and craziness she couldn't take it.

As a romance drama I like the film and how much he loves her, his acting is on point. I also like how the film portrays the impact of bullying on the victim years down the line. Both ml and fl are very layered characters as they each portray a different kind of strength to deal with their personal traumas etc. As a sane person he's a big red walking billboard and though FL is cruel to him it is well deserved. I remember seeing a short clip a few years ago of this girl in China who was kneeling down and kowtowing to this man in the middle of the street who has been stalking her for 5 years wanting her to give him a chance, begging him to let her go. The majority of comments said she should give him a chance for his perseverance, some even called it romantic that he lasted for so long, calling the girl cruel and heartless, and I'm sure you can extrapolate that to outside. What these people overlooked was that for those 5 years, the girl lost many friendships and couldn't have a proper relationship, she couldn't maintain a proper job, she developed mental health problems due to related stress, her anxiety went max level whenever he appeared and she felt the whole world was against her, that she was in the wrong for not accepting him. People forget that you can't measure feelings by the number of days, that his actions are textbook stalking and harassment but because the law is lacking so the girl couldn't do anything but endure until the guy gives up. Noone owes you their time or love just because you've dedicated your time to them. We have a saying in my culture which is roughly translated as "being handsome is not as good as being shameless" which is to encourage the guy to persevere until the girl gives in which is what that dude and this ml is doing, fully ignoring the fact of "consent". So, no matter how pitiful the ml is I cannot blame the FL for her cruelty because as I said earlier, noone owes you their time and love just because you've dedicated your time to them not to mention the fact that FL suffered severe bullying because of ML which scarred her physically, emotionally and mentally for life which killed any budding affections she had for him so calling her cruel is victimising the victim. If anything, FL is not cruel enough because after all, the only "cruel" thing she did was to be very consistent and decisive in her rejection of ml. If she never falls for him (which would be realistic) I would understand. I saw a few comments blaming the FL and defending the ML saying he didn't really do anything to her except being possessive as if it's somehow ok and romantic that he threatened to lock her away from the world if she dares have anything with another man, or that he'd do away with any man who dares to have romantic thoughts about her. Some commentators also don't see the nuance of how ML is forcing FL because he didn't physically do anything so they take it likely or even put a romantic spin on it. The more I watch the more I pity the FL, she's been emotionally stunted since high school because of ml.

Its anweird one for me. Irl he is a walking red flag, too jealous and almost possessive. I wouldnt encourage my kin to go woth a mentally unhinged person. In the context of the cdrama world, nice to see her change him and make him manage his emotions. He is obviously not well since his trauma with his mum. He is almost a big teddy bear or paper tiger. ❤was really rooting for them in the cdrama context😂

Actually, i don’t think he’s as bad as some of the comments here make him out to be. It’s his eyes. He looks like a lost puppy. He’s a lost puppy that a passerby gave a bite of sandwich to. Then he decided that was his home and followed her everywhere. His body language when he’s next to her is that he’s expecting to be kicked. He’s knows. But she’s still his owner so he’ll be there waiting for her. I’ve had a stalker before so I get why some would react to the character that way but I just can’t. And, no, it’s not just that I think he’s handsome. Truthfully I don’t care for guys with hair cut that short usually. And he’s a bit shorter than I like. I’m tall so I like really tall guys. He’s just got this extreme vulnerability in his eyes. If I’d Ben around him I’d have made him mine in like 2 seconds. Personally, I think she’s a bit much. Really over the top. He’s not the one who bullied her in high school. I realize the girls supposedly did it because of him, but that’s not his fault, it’s theirs. And who knows if they wouldn’t have found another reason if they had t used him? Bullies like that just pull a rabbit out of a hat and call it justification. She was really pretty and they couldn’t handle it. It’s like blaming the bat that you got hit. The bat didn’t do it. The perpetrator did. She’s an attorney. I agree he's not as bad as some of the comments make him out to be. I like some of the sides of him and get the obsessive side. He's not bad in this drama and does some REALLY sweet things. But I also worry that if he doesn't get control of some of his emotions he's gonna hurt her, example when he threw her on the couch and hurt her arm, or himself, like when he blamed himself for her being bullied and tried to overdose. She will always disappoint him about something, even when she's trying not to, and if he doesn't learn to stop BEFORE he acts, he will hurt her. I have hope for the end that, at the very least, he will get some anger management therapy. Maybe then he'll see his bestie is trying to rile him....

Finally found the best script! Thumbs up to the script writer & production team I’m really satisfied with the movie. ML & FL got their screen time for them only! No third party as evil character over shadow our ML & FL 10000000/10 stars! Highly recommended! I watched the whole movie without skip ⏭️

不太喜歡這種霸道瘋批強制愛類型的男主😮 感覺精神病很嚴重，萬一女主就是很討厭他喜歡不了，這在現實中發生通常一定會演變成情殺案。因為男生接受不了女生身邊有其他異性存在，就一定會發瘋殺人。😅

Dalam drama mungkin akan menjadi romansa dalam kehidupan nyata ini adalah tragedi. Belum lama ini selebriti Korea ketahuan menguntit selama 6 tahun, mengancam dan memasang cctv juga dilakukan. Sangat mengerikan mengingat sebelumnya saya menyukai nyanyianya. Terlepas dari itu semua saya sangat menyukai ML, dia selalu berakting baik dalam setiap karyanya 😊

If I were the fl, it will not that long to fall in love again with ml because what he done for the fl is really melt me. He ready to sacrifice his life for her even he thought that the fl never like him. He even overcome his trauma only for her❤ I satisfy with the ending!

This is is a complex drama ... Its all about bullying,mental anguish and trust. He loved her for years and she cannot grasp her feelings for a man who caused her so much cruelty and jealous bullying at school. They both had trauma and the way they deal with it is an interesting drama .

Depression is not bipolar. I think ML's char can get away with just about anything because he's rich and powerful but he put all his energy on the FL, trying his best not to hurt her in his own way. At least he was not twisted, mean or suicidal. Then towards the end we know FL actually liked ML during high sch and I feel the script is great saying no one is perfect and faultless. Everybody deserves to pursue happiness even if he is sick.

Plot: mentally unstable ml likes fl since high school. She was bullied because of him and left. 10 years later he found her and "pursues" her again. She tries to escape him. I'm not sure what to think of that one. Once you make it to 5 minutes, you find his character quite pitiful, yet his behaviour to fl is more harassment and stalking then pursuing. I thought a few times about skipping this one, but something in the story kept me glued to it and made me like ml anyway (at least in this fictional story). I don't agree with ml's behaviour called romantic and in real life, I'd report him ... But they always remind you of his own sad life at the right moment 😂 this is the real cruelty of the story.

It not just him. I actually have a bigger problem with the ML's bestie. He acts like he's discouraging the Ml, but he's also guilting the fl, telling the ml things that he knows will rile him up and not actually helping his friend.
