There is a singer that has so many bands that one could dedicate a whole channel to reacting to, but that’s not what I’m suggesting. I figure, check out a few songs to see if you’d like to go further down the rabbit hole. The singer is Mike Patton, and he fronts Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, Fantômas, Tomahawk, Lovage, Dead Cross, Peeping Tom, General Patton vs. X-Ecusioners, Mondo Cane, and a whole lot of others. He has been named the number one singer in all recorded popular music in terms of range with a spread of 6 octaves. He is also one of the most eclectic vocalists you will ever hear. I will start you off with three songs from three different bands to give you a bearing of his capabilities. Faith No More - The Real Thing Mr. Bungle - Sweet Charity The Dillinger Escape Plan - When Good Dogs Do Bad Things I hope you get a chance to check these out, and that it sparks your interest enough to want to keep diving in.

I think this song has a compound meter. Danny is playing the drums at 4/4 and the bass is doing a 5/4 and it cycles every 20 measures.
