Everyone knows that if those 'slip tubes' are tilted the slightest bit (Impossible to hold them vertically for long by hand) the copper rods will swing ! LOL All good fun though :)
@suffolkandy
@suffolkandy 5 жыл бұрын
I understand what you're saying here and I think Amy demonstrated how to tilt them by moving your hands. But when she didn't, they didn't move. I have to say, I find them quite a good bit of kit, getting replies from spirits and a lot of the times, they don't move at all RSMF

Great stuff, Amy and Andy: I'm looking forward to the next episode...perhaps The Murder in the Red Barn, featuring the killing of Maria Martin? My 3x great grandfather John Whislay Ayers apprehended the culprit. Ayers was previously the publican at Hadleigh's The Cock, and was a special bailiff, furniture vendor and auctioneer, and I'm sure a few other occupations. Anything to pay the bills! Ride safe, friends.

People may mock Amy and Andy, and although I have very strong christian beliefs, there are 2 places in Europe where I have physically felt spiritual powers - sadly both of evil and sadness.... 1) Lincoln Castle. This was turned into the prison in the 17th/18th/19th centuries, and a number of executions were performed there. The bodies of the condemmed were buried in unmarked graves inside the old shell keep on the motte at the edge of the castle. Over the years I've been there 3 times, 1st time I got to the bottom of the motte and felt a pressure for me not to go further. 2nd time I visited I climbed the motte, and got to the gate to the keep, and the temperature dropped, the bird song died away, and the temperature dropped considerably so I left. 3) time, bit dubious but the people with me wanted to see inside, so after saying a prayer, I went in. Again felt the temperature dropped when we went in, and felt unwelcomed, but had a look round. 2) Huisnes sur mer - Normandy. This is a German ossuary near Mont San Michelle, and comprises a number of chambers in a round open structure. One of the chambers we looked into experienced a massive drop in temperature and the feeling of pure evil. When we checked on the list of who was bones were interred there found out that one had been an ardent Nazi.... Obviously his spirit was and is still powerful. And on a positive note - there have been numberous experiences during my life of feelings of pure and ultimate good, where I have left uplifted by the power of nature and wellbeing in this world.... As these are not as marked as the evil experiences, we tend to note these less :) Great series Dad and Daughter !!!

The two stories you've told are very interesting. I myself had a strange thing happen to myself in Normandy on one of the D-Day beaches. When it comes to good and evil, after many years of being a spiritual medium, I can pretty well tell which is which and if I encounter a spiritual entity that is completely evil, I usually just walk away. Also, before any investigation, I always put protection on Amy and myself and afterwards also and I do that through the words of our Lord RSMF

I can see where you're coming from. There's certainly an ambience about the place. All woods can feel a bit creepy, but this one is a step forward. Truly believe there's something in the area of the Gibbet RSMF

Dowsing rods point to wherever your hand is tilted. You do have control over them and they don’t do their own thing.
@suffolkandy
@suffolkandy 4 жыл бұрын
We will have to disagree on this one, as Amy and myself can honestly say we do not manipulate them in any way
@viewsbydrone5313

Suffolk Andy If you honestly believe that you are not tilting them, then the chances are that you are doing it subconsciously. I read a Derren Brown book which highlighted that people do this, he uses a pendulum as an example. It would rotate or swing in a certain direction for yes/no answers. I used to use this to coach marksmanship, as in shooting the rifle should point naturally at the target without the firer pulling it onto the target causing slight fatigue. Most firers have no idea they’re pulling the rifle onto target causing unwanted tension but they are. I’d use the pendulum as an example that they’re capable of moving an object unknowingly. The same goes for Ouija boards and in your case, these rods. They all need human control. Lots of magic tricks can be performed by this sort of thing, it’s quite impressive and people don’t know they’re doing it. I have no doubt that there’s some sort of excuse for all of these that believers use that require a person to be in contact with whatever apparatus is being used. It’s too unreliable to be in control of the object yourself, you can’t say that it moves by itself. Whoever is holding the object is whether they know it or not. If ghosts etc have the ability to move objects then maybe they could write their name in fine sand. If you need to be connected to the object then put your hand on the sand too, see if words appear. But they won’t.

Great choice of potentially haunted locations. Perhaps you've made contact with an elemental rather than the ghost of a male/female. The pronunciation of 'Gibbet': the first syllable is the same as in 'Jim' and not as in 'give'.
@suffolkandy

The subject of elementals is one that I'm not sure on, but there probably could be a connection with the forest as what I know is they can be very mischevious
