Arjun, like Michael Tal, always takes his opponent into a thick forest out of which he alone comes out unscathed! A Great player that you do not find at the top most level! And what's more, he does this again and again with undiluted passion, dedication, accuracy and ruthlessness! We are definitely looking at a future World Champion!

@@Xenobtexture Agreed. In terms of "magic" on the chess board, Michael Tal has no equal. Only that he himself agrees that there are two types of sacrifices - the correct ones & his. Irrespective of this he was definitely a Magician from Riga. Of course, in modern day chess, the player who comes close to his creativity and magic is undoubtedly Daniil Dubov. Perhaps Arjun scores well through effectiveness, calculation & consistency not to speak of finding brilliant moves.

Honestly, I think Arjun is stronger than Gukesh now. This is absolutely insane how in peak form he is. This is the strongest he's ever been. So excited to keep watching him. He's so young too!

I admire Arjun's composure in complex positions. That was a very difficult endgame to go into with such confidence. That also means he probably calculated some of the moves way in advance. That bishop sacrifice on h3 says everything about the depth of Arjun's calculation capabilities but also his confidence. Even his opponent seemed surprised by the move since himself didn’t believe the move could work. Then Arjun having his knight go back all the way to the first rank to come back up... amidst all that pressure... simply amazing. When Magnus gets tired and "decides" to step down... he will be the next #1 for sure. Simply amazing talent.

Arjun shouldnt be compared with magnus as we can see that at beginning his opponent is little better in position than him and overall accuracy of arjun is low and this cant be done with other top players that having low accuracy in start and a blunder by opponent in middle will give favour
