I was also a sponsored kid from the Philippines. Now, I am a volunteer Compassion Correspondent for Compassion Australia. I write letters to my correspondents in Ethiopia and Thailand. I also sponsor a kid here in the Philippines with my best friends, who all were sponsored children as well. God is good! He's doing great things in and through us.

I needed this interview. Wow. I feel so fulfilled. I am 29 yrs old. I only make $15/per hour but I came to know the Compassion program a month ago and I now sponsor 4 children. I know God will increase my finances. But, I’ve already determined even if I was to lose my low paying job, I would go work at McDonald’s just for my 4 children to never be told their sponsorship has stopped. Compared to them - I am wealthy. And, I know God has only made me wealthy so that I could share. I think about them every day now and I will be with them until I can’t anymore. I pray for them daily now. I had no idea the foundation was even doing all this for them but now I feel even more blessed.

I was also a beneficiary from Ghana. I'm now a trained teacher through the intervention of compassion international as at age 8. Compassion international, Ghana is my God. Sponsoring a child is ongoing. Happy to be part of this story
