I told two of my sons that your wife went to be with the Lord recently. One of them was unaware of this and his comment was, "I would have never been able to tell because he hasn't changed and that's exactly how it should be when we're walking with God. We should never let our circumstances here on Earth change who we are in Christ and how we respond to things."🔥🙏❤️ We love you Bill

Exactly, I've appreciated Bethel for a long time, but the constant naysayers caused me to reassess a few times if Bill and Bethel really were authentic. Bill's sermon days after Benny's death ended that for me. Bill is gold refined in the fire.

I have been putting off joining a church ever since I moved 3-4 years ago. I would sit and wait and when my parents would tell me to come to church, join any other church, I would tell them God is everywhere, I will join one eventually, I am not comfortable etc. This word really hit me like a shot that I SHOULD NOT WAIT for God to come to me, I have to hunt and find what I am missing in life. This word really was fulfilling and a blessing and I was just praying this last week for God to give me a sign and there is no better way than this. Your sermons have been encouraging me and teaching me many things. I thank you for that. I truly am thankful. Regards, Just someone from India

Good stuff, Bill! Wonderful clarifying contrasts between worldly and Kingdom definitions of hope, patience and joy. 5:05 The kind of a hope that is merely a synonym for a “wish” is transformed in the Kingdom to another dimension. The Kingdom definition of hope is a joyful anticipation of good! 13:17 Similarly, Kingdom patience is more than the common passive toleration of things we don’t like. Mere men can generate this kind of patience. Kingdom Patience transforms that into independent, unyielding defiant perseverance in the face of aggressive misfortune- an intolerance of the Enemy’s work to kill, steal and destroy, provoking a courage that says, “enough!” 26:14 Undeserved Joy. . . (Imagine that!) 36:28 Kingdom Joy is something we don’t earn or deserve but it’s accessible because Jesus paid for it. So we can choose to believe and celebrate it in spite of the circumstances - somehow rejoicing before I have the right to be happy transforms me into a person . . . to live at a dimension in Christ that is otherwise unattainable. Like I said. . . Good stuff, Bill!

God brought me to this message because He's teaching me to live in joy. It's one of the hardest things I've ever had to learn. Then, as I was reading the transcript for this message, He just dropped this on me: The reason the people wept is because they knew that their forebears were exiled because they didn't follow the law. So when they finally heard the law and realized that they were breaking it, they weren't just penitent, they were TERRIFIED that God was going to destroy them and exile them again. In my own life this translates to how things always seem to collapse on me right as I'm almost "there". Now God is telling me that this is a new day, that I won't see my dreams die when I'm standing at the door about to enter anymore. So, like the Israelites, I'm in the land of promise, it's time to enjoy the fruits of God's goodness, then suddenly here comes the same old situations wrecking everything I've just barely managed to keep together. I can almost hear them screaming, "NOT AGAIN! WE DIDN'T KNOW! PLEASE DON'T MAKE US GO BACK INTO EXILE!!!" 😢 But it's a new day. He tells them through the priests to get up. You're okay. It's not a day of mourning but a day of celebration and joy. I'm there right now. It's been excruciating to let go of the fear and doubt, but God has helped me. Glory to His name.

To wait on the Lord. Slap yourself if you say, if it is God's will. 09:05 Waiting on the Lord. It is reducing my option, and refining my focus because I'm about to enter a God moment and I don't want to miss it.

Such a great message. God really opened up my mind to all this. I’ve lost everything I owned which started in April. And as I kept losing things I would say, your grace is sufficient. I’m stronger than I think I am. And the joy of the Lord is my strength. This just explained to me why God had me saying these words over and over. Also explained why God had me start encouraging others when I needed encouragement. I saw it as sowing and reaping back then but He was also teaching me to stay joyful. He was getting rid of depression and suicide forever. He was training me to be victorious. I watch so many of your messages. God bless you for being such a blessing and encouragement to me.

It’s kind of hard to explain in words, and it’s better than in a video but I’m not doing that :-) remember when we were kids and we did goofy things with our body, like hokey pokey type stuff? Thanks A LOT for this message Pastor Bill. I am a member of a larger spirit-filled church in Mpls. I've been a member there for a number of years now. And even though I've been baptized in God the Holy Spirit with tongues, even though I understand 'there is therefore no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus that walk after that same Spirit' (Rom.8:1) I STILL get choked up at my shortcoming sometimes. Interestingly enough it's when I watch clips from the show THE CHOSEN. I've seen some of these clips numerous times but they still make me weep. It's like what you said here, the disparity the Israelites felt after realizing they were so far apart in their behavior from what the Torah said to behave they wanted to weep. Thank you for your reminder that I could never have effected my own righteousness in the 1st place and that I should be joyful. That in doing so I will have the thing I realized already was utterly impossible for me to ever appropriate on my own. 😇

Choosing? He chose first. That's my joy. What lots of people (even pastors) don't (yet) understand. God created us according to His own image and likeness. Godly. Mankind/the first Adam fell. The image of God in man got lost. That's why there is all this predicament on earth (selfishness, greed, lust, wars, sicknesses, death, etc). We are all born into that mess. For the fall of man a perfect atoning sacrifice had to be made.... that is what God did in Christ. With His own once and for all perefect sacrifice, He paid the debt for the fall of man for us, so we can be indwelled by His Spirit again and finally receive the divine life of the ages back, the first Adam let got of in the fall of man. An amazing act of grace and love by our creator. That is what you see happening in Christ's first disciples. They too healed all and walked in unselfish love. And yes.... that is still avaible today. The holy blood is in place, the Holy Spirit is here to give us understanding, power and transform us back to origin. Not to be debated about, but to be embraced and be-come. So: The Kingdom of God already came. Through Christ, in Spiritform, in those that understand. Hence the divine healing miracles we experience. God manifested in Christ to give us back the divine life mankind lost in the fall of Adam. Christ, the exact image of the invisible God. The image we were created after in Gen 1. The image we lost in the fall of man. The image that can be freely restored by Christ's blood and Holy Spirit working IN us. What a plan. What a solution. What a love. What a God. Jesus is amazing. It is the ultimate conclusion of the word and plan of God. God came full circle. He Himself stooped down from glory to restore us back to original created value: Christlikeness. Walking in divine healing power and unselfish love. Jesus, born of the Spirit of God, filled with the spirit of God. The "Son" of God, the incarnated word, God in the flesh. For three years He healed all, raised the dead, casted out demons, controlled nature, spoke pure divine truth. He said: "Follow Me. If you see Me, you see the Father. The Father and I are one. The glory I have IN My Father, I give to you. It pleases the Father to give you His Kingdom/Holy Spirit/divine nature. I will send Holy Spirit, the same as Me, He will be IN you, guide you into truth and give you explosive power. The same miracles i do, you will do too, because you will understand that the Father is IN Me and I am IN you. Freely I give you My Kingdom/Holy Spirit/divine nature, heal the sick, raise the dead, cast out demons, freely I give, freely share" Etc, etc, etc. I have experienced thousands of beautifull healing miracles through the power of Holy Spirit IN me already. Broken bones, cancers, covid, all kinds of infirmities healed in seconds. Demons manifesting and casted out by a simple "get out, in Jesus name". Jesus. De name above all names. In Him all power and wisdom is sourced and.... He calls us one with Him. God in man and man in God again. C'mon Jesus!! So.... again: God stooped down IN Christ to restore us back to Gen 1:27 were He said: "Let us make man according to our image and likeness and let them have authority.....": walk as Christ. Christ, the exact image of the invisible God. The image we were created after and being restored to by His atoning blood for the fall of man and indwelling Holy Spirit. You are free to receive this original divine life of the ages by Holy Spirit of Christ/God. Ask Him to guide you into truth. Read the Gospel of John and fall in love with your creator. You are not made for the fall of man and its effects, but for the image/glory of God and to walk like Christ. Holy Spirit is the guide and transforming power that will get you there. Amazing grace. A big leap in faith can be made when we start realizing we are already IN Christ, IN the last Adam. Free from the fall! Loved! Growing into awareness of our new (yet old) godly identity. Changing by Holy Spirit. The most fullfilled life ever. Paul healed all on Malta. He understood and wrote: "As in the first Adam ALL died (lost the divine nature), so also ALL were made alive IN Christ to walk in Zoë (= divine life) again". "IN Christ (the last Adam) we are co-cruisified (dead to the fall and its effects), co-raised (justified/made righteousness, holy, blameless, above reproach), co-seated (one with Him)" "The fullness of deity dwells in Christ and YOU HAVE BEEN MADE COMPLETE IN HIM, who is the head of every principality and power". So.... thank you Jesus! Thank you for redeeming me from the fall of man. Thank you for your Holy Spirit that makes this new (yet old) divine life come alive in me. You are amazing! In the shadow of Peter the sick healed... He understood too and wrote: "By Gods power (Holy Spirit) and knowing Christ, we have become partakers of the divine nature and have escaped the fall of man". The divine life of the ages has been returned to us by Jesus once and for all perfect atoning sacrifice for the debt of the fall of man and His indwelling Holy Spirit in us. Jesus/God is amazing!!! Ask Him to give you revelation and change you to the way it was before the fall of man: Christlikeness. He will do so. For it is written: "the Spirit brings forth after His own kind". "I have come to give you Zoë (divine life) in abundance...."

11:25 Patience My friends, be glad, even if you have a lot of trouble. You know you learn to endure by having your #faith #tested. But you #must #learn to #endure everything, so you will be completely mature and not lacking in anything. If any of you need wisdom, you should ask God, and it will be given to you. God is generous and won't correct you for asking. But when you ask for something, you must have faith and not doubt. Anyone who doubts is like an ocean wave tossed around in a storm. If you are that kind of person, you can't make up your mind, and you surely can't be trusted. So don't expect the Lord to give you anything at all. James 1:2-8 CEV

am unclear whether 'The Joy of the Lord' is an inner experience of joy which feels good and encourages me, or a mindfulness that God (who knows all the outcomes) is thrilled with how it all turns out in the end - which gives me hope and frees me from despair. I'm beginning to think it's both - both seem plausible for the Nehemiah 'Joy of the Lord is your strength' thing.

I have to be honest - this was a hard teaching for me to understand how to implement. How does one choose to rejoice when feeling deep sadness, despair, hopelessness, etc? I don't know how to set aside these emotions, and they don't seem compatible with joy. What does it mean to not subject my heart/mind to my difficulties? I so desperately need this, and want to be able to do it, but I'm at a loss. I'd appreciate help on this. Or prayer, which is probably what I need more of...

If it comes from within(Holy Spirit) then that means it would look different in every believer and no human can quantify anothers level of worship.
