We need Imams like this person ,Who emphsize upon the reading of Qur'an. There is Shifa( Cure) in it for mankind's social diseases.. ( One eg of what Qur'an instructs: : don't consume intoxicating drink: if followed billions of dollars in personal health are saved, and billions of dollars of damage to the society are saved,and lives are saved and families are saved and society in general is saved. How many a mothers and fathers are left weeping because of the loss of a teenager son or daughter's life is snuffed out , because of alcohol? Innumerable ones. Will that not be a balm to the weeping hearts if only the instructions are followed. infact there will be a preventive medicne of massive importance to individual family in particular and society in general.. I can give many more examples of benefit to the individuals and society by following the instructions in Qur'an. ) . When we do zikr -read Qur'an the beauty of its simple principles , when understood and practised helps us lead reformed lives and help live with contentment.

Agree with you. The sufist is trying to tell you the heart of islamic teaching. But a lot of people only go for fizical only. Must combine fizical and soul together to pray. Laila hailallah is combination of fizical and soul submit to God Azawajalla..

asallamu Alikum, I have a question. the speaker, may Allah bless him, said that we should not dress in areas where we pray. So if we are praying in our bedrooms, especially woman or whole families, so their might be angels there. what about relationships with husband and wife. it's also done in bedroom. so should we not pray in the bedroom? I am confused now.

Khadija Z. salaam sister. It's ok to pray in your befroom as long as the floor you are praying on is clean and pure. Allahu 'alam.

Khadija Z. You can pray any where at home with the exception of rest rooms. It is true that the Angels keep away from naked men or women and they know your intentions that you want to do, you can dress up in your bed room and make your Salaah in your room, even though you sleep there with your husband provided you're spiritually cleansed with Janaba, you are free to pray in that same room. The Holy Prophet use to pray in his bed room, while his wife, our mother Aisha is in bed. "Salatu Tahajud" So you are not performing your prayers in bed, so don't get confused.
