Why do people on steroids often pretend that nattys can achieve the same results through the same diet and training? It’s misleading and creates unrealistic expectations.

Steroids make you bigger not shredded. All body builders that juice and don't have to fast or limit their food intake to shred. Also, everyone is not the same.. I had a friend in highschool that had crazy muscular caves. Another that always had a body builder's physical appearance. They never took roids. My cousin was given roids by his doctor because of his allergies and became fat. Genetics play a huge part.

@@DionDetroitLion I'm not denying that he's working out. However, if you believe you can maintain his physique by eating just once a day without using steroids, you're mistaken. using steroids can dramatically alter the body’s ability to build and maintain muscle, making it possible to sustain a muscular physique with less stringent dietary and exercise routines.

As soon as you tell a work colleague or someone who’s older than you are fasting and you’re not eating any food in work, they tell you it’s so unhealthy, you shouldn’t do it. You need to eat five meals a day blah blah blah 😂😂😂 the world is brainwashed into eating and eating and eating while not understanding it’s only in very recent years humans have only been able to access food whenever they want. The majority of time humans have spent on this planet you couldn’t eat whenever you felt like eating, you would eat once a day for thousands of years, you didn’t have a choice and we have made it this far but they still think you’re supposed to eat five meals a day it’s crazy.

So I first saw Mike Rashid about 8-9 years ago he was training a lot with CT Fletcher who has had a fascinating life and would be a great person to interview. Mike seems like a great guy but let’s not overlook that he’s been heavily “enhanced” for lack of a better term, not saying he doesn’t hit the gym hard and watch his diet because there’s no way to get his size without really hard work, but let’s say results not typical, if you are a natty.

But if you eat once a day but still looks jacked because you take steroids than be honest and tell people you do take steroids also so they don’t think that someone eating once a day will still have all that muscle mass.

I think you should eat more than once per day, but one of your meals can be focused on specific gaps in your nutrition, such as gut health, or foods that boost Nitric oxide levels. Eating more than once per day doesn't have to mean eating a cowboy steak or pound of chicken every time you eat.

@@styplaya I had started maybe 5-6 months prior to my comment. I’m still going strong. I’ve manipulated it a bit, I started strictly 1 meal a day. Regardless of workout routine. I reached my weight goal of 180lbs, and I’ve wanted to increase mass, I add in two meals a day, on Post workout for the protein, but still both meals within a 6 hour window. I’ve never felt healthier. I can tell my body fat percentage is dropping. 4 days out of the week I do 2 meals, 3 days a week I do 1 meal. Almost strict carnivore diet followed. I try and eat this everyday, and I do with maybe 1 cheat meal a month. When I say I try to eat this everyday, because I’m trying to gain muscle, I’m “over eating” but funny thing about 🥩, when your full your full, it’s hard to over eat. Sorry for the rant, lastly I try to consume this everyday, I’ll put them in order of importance to me. 1/4lbs salmon 1/4lbs liver 2 avocados 1.66lbs grassfed beef (sometime I can only eat 1.24lbs 2 tablespoons grassfed butter (in my coffee) Lastly I supplement with an AG1 type product to still get all the vitamins and minerals of veggies, not sure if it’s necessary but it gives me peace of mind. @@styplaya I’m definitely not here to teach 🤪 I do carnivore only because it seems to be what works for me. I had done keto for a while prior to this. It also was good. But I’ve been on a journey off eliminating foods from my diet, specifically carbs and sugar, however it was a journey. Not easy to just cut. Months ago I would cheat with a little honey mixed into a mixed nut butter they sell at Costco. All healthy seeds. I would do vegetarian if I could live off papaya salad (it’s delicious) but I need meat.

If you are interested in doing this, just do a four hour eating window that’s probably best. I don’t eat for about 18 to 19 hours a day, if you’re going to drink drink water in that fasting time frame and forget about calories, just eat decent Whole Foods, a good all round balanced diet and don’t get too much into the calorie stuff, and have a little treat after your last meal to if you have a sweet tooth. Don’t go to strict at the start.

Because that's the only way. You can effectively eat one time a day. And maintain weight and not be hungry all the time.

@MattAngiono
@MattAngiono 3 ай бұрын
Considering you touched on it, you should really have on a guest to talk about ethical veganism, as it's about a lot more than a diet. I've been doing this for the better part of a decade and it has definitely helped my health, but even more so feeling consistent with my beliefs. I don't think it is right to abuse animals, and we necessarily do that every time we consume their flesh. I say this also as someone who ran a BBQ for a decade. I also don't need very many meals (contrary to what some people claim about veganism), and usually only eat twice a day, and rarely feel the desire to snack or eat sweets (which i also used to be addicted to). It really is a game changer and not only benefits your health, fitness, and the planet, but it's just the logical conclusion of being human, which let's not forget, comes from the word HUMANE, meaning compassionate. If we are to live up to that title, we shouldn't be enslaving other species. Let's also not forget that 99+% of animal products come from factory farms, which i don't think anyone would support of they actually faced what's going on in those places.
