You can try changing it for 2 Teostra set parts, if I'm not mistaken Teostra Blessing has similar effect to this set, but only affect Fire Element and without the Elemental Resistence punishment.

Mail of hellfire also messes with scroll swap. Blue scroll gives more ele and red gives raw so he'd lose phial damage swapping.

I believe these are custom quests that are put into the PC version using mods. These quests don't show up on the Switch version.

Is critical element not worth it?

Elemental Discharge and Firing Pin can't deal critical damage, so Critical Element wouldn't be useful with this build. But it's great to use with Condensed Spinning Slash on an affinity-focused build.
