Missing The Libertines imo. Arguably the most important British band of the early noughties and, along with The Strokes, helped lay the foundations for a lot of the indie bands of the decade. No Arctic Monkeys without the Libs

You guys should’ve really mentioned Genesis in the Prog category. I understand that the band was popular in the genre of Art Pop, but still. The band was very influential, great video!

@ProgMan _74 We'd love to do deep dives into some Genesis classics! "A Trick of the Tail" is a personal fave! 👍
@progman_74123 жыл бұрын
@@soundmojo A personal favorite of mine as well! Selling England By The Pound and A Trick Of The Tail are classics in the Genesis community and in the community of Progressive Rock. Thank you for replying to my comment!

@@progman_7412 Those two are my faves in the Genesis catalogue.
@progman_74123 жыл бұрын
@@soundmojo I would also recommend listening to a few Progressive Rock bands call Gentle Giant, Van Der Graaf Generator and Camel as well. Those two bands aren’t as well known but still share a similar sound to Genesis, Yes and King Crimson. They’re many other Prog Bands I could name all day but those are just some of the classic bands from the 1970s and 1980s. I hope you guys have an amazing day!

@@progman_7412 Trust me I'm a huge prog rock fan. Yes, Kansas, King Krimson, Camel, Rush, and many of the modern ones as well.
