Our dtr in law has brainwashed our son's mind bc of jealousy and control-a jezebel spirit. We are praying for him to be released from this bondage-not their marriage but the bondage of lies and deception that has hold of both of their lives. My wife and I are praying that, after no contact for three years, WE WILL BE RECONCILED and brought closer to God and one another and that our grandchildren will know how much we miss them! Lindsey thank you so much for sharing your story about how God stopped you from meeting those two men, and about how even though we may not know how much God listens to our prayers until after we have gone home to the Lord or we see confirmation of victory. Dear Rosie, Recently, the Lord explained to me that prayer is much like the old arcade game Centipede. The hindrance... If we are praying the will of God... is a worm-like barrier with segments. Our prayers are shot forth and they destroy each segment until the hindrance is annihilated. Or, it's like a wall. Each brick needs to be smashed down. Not by might, not by power but by the Spirit. I've been encouraged to... Not talk at the Lord, or to the Lord... But WITH the Lord. Yes, Almighty... Worthy of our fervent adoration and gentle humility before His Presence...
