I really appreciate this lesson. I appreciate it because Jews Like Catholics had many memorized prayers and what Rabbi is saying is that even though prayers may be memorized, they should not fall down to the level of Babel. In other words, with every prayer, with every word, with every thought let it have a good intention to honor God and to serve him and to learn to be available to learn

It's pretty interesting what you say, about creating a new Ratzon, but it's problematic for me, can we really influence Hashem one way or another, can we make him want something he didn't want before? Or is it to be understood as yes everything is included in his Ratzon but that his Ratzon isn't yet defined, until through our prayers we define it for something specific, in a sense we need to bring it down from ayin to yeish?

Does HaShem hear the prayers in English as well or only in Hebrew?
@RabbiAnavaAlon8 жыл бұрын
Yes, Hashem hears all prayers. Always better to pray in Hebrew, but till you learn Hebrew, don't worry, Hashem hears your English prayers
