Great said! Very interesting book about Jesus Prayer is " The way of a pilgrim"- in form of fabular book, in polish "Opowieści pielgrzyma". Also fragments of Philokalia in polish edition - "Filokalia" by Benedictines from Tyniec in Poland: "This volume contains fragments of this anthology dealing with the prayer of Jesus, also called the prayer of the heart or constant prayer. "

Hi brothers and sisters! I have three questions, please- one practical, one spiritual, and one about reading: 1. I have a prayer rope (chokti) from a monastery in Greece. It's thin and discrete, ideal for wearing all the time, even to work. But I struggle to move it from my wrist to my hand for the prayer of the Name. I'm afraid it might break or loosen if I stretch it too much. Any suggestions on how to manage this? 2. When praying the prayer of the name, I find saying just "Jesus" less distracting than "Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me" or similar. The longer version seems to make me focus on my faults rather than on the Lord. For some reason, I find more peace praying under my breath using "YHWH," the Tetragrammaton. I love the Lord and know He leads to the Father, so this concerns me. Should I be bothered by this? For context, I aim to go to the sacrament of reconciliation once a month, though sometimes I let worldly cares interfere. 3. Damian mentioned Bishop Kallistos Ware's book on the power of the Name. Did he mean the booklet from the Catholic Truth Society called 'The Jesus Prayer' or another book? Thank you for another inspiring video and for your ministry to us. Please pray for us to find a secure home 🏡 and for me to find a stable job. I'll keep praying for you all. Glory to God! 🙌✨️

Dear Bartolini, I know Randy Clark. He is a great friend of Catholics with a great respect for our Popes, Catholic Saints and has read many of the Fathers. He also has a deep faith in the Eucharist. There are things Randy and I would not agree on of course because he is not a Catholic. However I have found him to be an authentically humble man. Genuine healings take place in his events which have medical confirmations. He has been accused of endorsing some great exaggerations in the Toronto Blessing - and although he was instrumental in its start he has written against some of these. His ministry is much more focused on teaching and healing and empowering Christians to serve Christ. Every year he invites me to speak on his School of Supernatural Ministry in the USA. The subject they ask me to speak on is the supernatural in the Catholic tradition and the Catholic mystical tradition. Almost all of those attending are Evangelical charismatics, many of whom have never even had a conversation with a Catholic before. Each year I am given total freedom and I speak on the miracles of the Saints, apparitions, Eucharistic miracles and teaching from the Catholic mystics. I then receive questions about Catholic doctrines and give explanations eg why we have different books in the Bible, Why we believe about the Holy Eucharist as we do and various other subjects. The experience of those on the school is one of humble attentive respect and wonder. Each year I have been voted one of their favourite speakers and for 2 years their favourite speaker (I do not say this to boast about me but rather to reveal their incredible openness to a Catholic experience and perspective). 99% of the other speakers over the course, which is several months long, are Protestant Evangelical Charismatics. As a result of this service at Randys centre I was written to by the leader of the largest Pentecostal evangelistic ministry in the world and asked if I could supply them with information about Catholic Saints. I am a totally orthodox Catholic attending daily mass for 30 years. I have not deviated from my Catholic belief in any way and have found an astonishing openness among Randy's organisation to the graces in the Catholic Tradition. I hope that is helpful.
