I really appreciate Neville Johnson. One thing I disagree with is the statement that after Jesus came out of the 40 days of testing that God could now trust him for he had been tried and proven trustworthy. (around 7 1/2 min in). Jesus and the Father were one. He didn’t have to prove anything to God.

Diana Davidson God didn't have to test Abraham yet He did. Why? God knew what Abraham would do. Abraham did not though. Satan did not. The world did not. Abrahams obedience built the relationship between him and the Father. It actioned trust between them as did Jesus' test. Jesus was a physical man although he walked in the spirit. His actions released trust between God and him in the physical and spiritual. It isn't that God distrusted Jesus before the test or questioned him. Satan sure did.

The Ever Clever Wife I appreciate what you are saying. I know Jesus the man grew in wisdom and stature. For me he did it as an act of refinement of his flesh as worship to Father and as an example to us. Perhaps to remind Satan who reigns and so Satan could not accuse Jesus of anything in the courts of heaven. Please don’t get me wrong about Brother Johnson. I highly esteem him and learn so much from his outside the box teaching and humble spirit. Love the man.

Diana D, the Trinity is easily understood if you see it this way. Jesus came to the Earth as a man and had to submit His will under the Authority of the Father. All things in God Kingdom come in order. Hope this helps to explain the query! Shalom and God bless and guide you.
