Im going through alot now . I feel so alone sometimes even though I have God my kitty all my friends I still feel all alone ! THis COvid has not helped with the lonliness as I cant really go anywhere much and going to be alone for Christmas and was on Thanksgiving ! I usaully am at Lindas daughters house for those days ! But Covid has seperated us but she still comes over for awhile but does not stay long though ! Im a people perso so feel so lonley as its just me and Midnight Baby my kitty ! Joyce, I first heard you speak in this in the nineties, then I read your book Me and My Big Mouth which helped so much during my deliverance. But I started struggling with a painful condition in 2010, and only recently God has been convicting me to go back and listen to you again in this subject! Because I know that only God is the Great Physician but I do not want to get in His way with my words! By His stripes I was healed, I am healed! Is patience equal to strength?? All I wished was "strength to face the storms in life".... So what would be the word if problem was replaced with turmoils in life... You just keep getting tossed ☺ in life; till I became the "eye of the storm itself"... Nothing is disturbing on the inside.... So Yes! Strength was the best thing I wished for in life... You learn a lot and that's how I reached to having wisdom... And I continue to learn... I did this right from my childhood... My mom would threaten me of the things I cannot do and I would say, " Jesus did, so can.. These are small compared to what be did... I will do it... "... So my mom understood if she had to convince me against things that is not mine, she would slowly remind, " Jesus took the cross for things he did not do, so can you... And I would completely surrender, doing that which would hurt me the most..." I was not like the Christian who worshiped him; it was love and I did not worship him... To live the life of Christ... To be like Christ... You cannot preach what you do not practise, and that is to be Christ itself...

I watched this recently. I enjoy your positive messages and encouraging words (and yes, sometimes I do need to listen to them twice). I have been struggling with controlling my profanity lately. I am not quite so bad about taking the Lord's name in vain anymore...it's odd how many times you hear that now in television shows. Some of my favourite shows...I never noticed how much they did that before. Now I notice it. It seems a wee bit excessive. I still watch my favourite shows but not as much and not with the same eyes...if that makes any sense. So anyway, might consider a prayer for me on my profanity issue if you have the time. I am writing a book at the moment (that's what I do, I am a writer) so sometimes it's necessary for what I am writing to some extent but I don't want to make a habit out of cussing people out even if I do kinda enjoy it and have others laughing hysterically...apparently my family thinks it's hilarious when I cuss. Oh honestly sometimes I think even God laughs at some of the things that I do. It's not just cussing. I have a bit of an attitude. I sometimes think I am the one soul that might make even God want to sit and eat a hot fudge sundae 🍨and/or some chocolate 🍫...or maybe a bottle of tequila 🥃! But then I realize those can occasionally be my vices...but not God's. I don't drink but once a year on my birthday but I consume a lot of chocolate sometimes. So I guess I could use a little prayer for that too sometimes. I recently bought a large bag of chocolate. Covid pandemic comfort food I suppose. 🍫 I enjoyed your teachings. (God knows I need to hear them!)

Leah, I used to cuss like a sailor before I met my husband. When he introduced me to Jesus something in me stared to change. When I started to develop a deeper relationship with God and allow the Holy Spirit to work in me and through me thats when my language changed amongst other things. God will meet you where you are at but fowl language is something that He doesn't like. You have to allow the Holy Spirit to work in and thru you and start being concise about what you say. If you start to cuss then stop in the middle of it and redirectyour words. If you know its wrong and it makes others laugh then make the decision to be more like Christ. It might mean others might not like the new non cussing you but its better than trying to please others. Praying for the Holy Spirit to work in and thru you. God bless and much love ❤

I love Joyce and respect her, but I don't believe God gives power to our words or all of us would be in trouble people in the world who don't even think about God say all kinds of negative nonsense that don't affect them at all and they are happy and successful based on that sort of thing I don't believe the Bible says that about us but about God I don't want to sound as if I'm against her or accusing her or nothing she's not the only one who teaches this the church used to interpret things in the Bible that a new generation of believers has corrected maybe God is doing this again after all we all have the same teacher, and perhaps we should limit ourselves to what has been revealed to us and not think that because of that we should assume we understand or interpret the word correctly, but I could be wrong

I study the Bible and that's why I know Joyce Meyer has taught errors concerning Jesus. She says some good things but has also said some rank heresies about Jesus going to hell and is being little God's where we can speak things into existence. Prosperity, healing and all that stuff. She teaches that Jesus died and went to hell and got beat up and mocked by the devil in order to complete our salvation. That's adding to the simple gospel . It also denied where Jesus told the thief on the cross he would be with him that day in paradise. Joyce goes beyond what has been written . There are other things she has taught that aren't biblical but I've said enough. Hopefully you guys will take Joyce's good advice and study the Bible yourselves without Joyce's materials and be good bereans and search out if the things she teaches concerning Jesus Christ going to hell and bring born again. It's utterly blasphemous really. But suffice to say whatever good she might teach doesn't mean she is a sound teacher because she isn't .
