One thing I could say is make sure that during your waking life you are in the word of God, that you are constantly in the presence of God because when you get an attack while you sleep, your spirit knows how to fight back. When you are not seeking God during the day, you are vulnerable in your dreams. Be spiritually sharp!

I can’t believe I have all these gifts, including healing, within me, yet I let them go after losing my father. My father was my biggest supporter-taking me to church, ensuring I read my Bible, and encouraging me to fast. When I lost him, it felt like I lost everything. At that point, I stopped believing in God. However, my sister made sure I found my way back to Him.

Hi, from South Africa! Recently someone sent me a sermon of their church (Christ embassy) and also a personal message sent by her pastor, stating that God only speaks to unbelievers in dreams, and to believers ONLY through visions. Being young in faith I was so so sad cause God had revealed so much in dreams to me, when I was a lukewarm believer and a true believer. I was saddened but I even told her that I don't believe that to be true. She almost shook my belief cause she's been a believer since she was a young child and I've only now in my 20's started building a relationship with God. But I just knew something was off. THAT SAME NIGHT I had a VIVID a dream of a wolf chasing me and when it got to me and bit me I fought back like never before. This made me think of how I argued with her and showed her verses where God speaks in dreams in the New Testament too (as she argued that dreams were only given to believers in the old testament). I knew the next day that God was showing me that she was a wolf in sheep's clothing. I even told her that I needed to go sit with God about this because I have been led astray before with another church 😭 and I wasn't going to let it happen again. I'm so glad I listened to my spirit and went straight to my Bible after we spoke.

Scripture already denounces her statement. We ought to be careful of false indoctrination. Read and study your Word for yourself. That moment was an opportunity to see that she’s led astray and sadly it’s through a church that’s well known. Pray for her.

God speaks to us in dreams. God speak to us through His words. God can speak to us in the place of prayer, audibly. God can talk to us all day, when we spiritually yield ourselves to Him. psalm 24. God is a rewarder of those who seeks Him. Seek God in prayer and fasting and through the word. I was a member of Christ Embassy. I can relate because they believe everything that is said by pastor Chris, without going to God themselves to Ask God. I love pastor Chris. His ministry has helped me. But we have the Holy Spirit that is available to teach us, and we have the Bible just as pastors have the bible. We are all the race in kingdom of God. Always go to God to ask questions. I went to God to ask questions in prayers, 10 hours talking to God. When I started Praying a lot, God led me to apostle Arome. These days, I go to go God in prayers. It is dangerous if we don't study for ourselves. Jesus is the savior of the world. prayer is a communication with God, and must be done every day

Pharaoh had a dream which needed Joseph to interpret & so did King Nebuchadnezzer who needed Daniel's interpretation. Thats not to say that they did not have their own interpreters, they had magicians etc but what matters is the source of ur interprator (hope am not off topic)

It depends on what perspective you see it from. Today we have "believers" who are unbelievers. Their fruits speak for them and for such it takes sleeping for God to speak to them. I hope you get what I mean. And as for visions, a believer is always in His presence, God doesn't require that person to sleep in order to speak or communicate. At any point, God can speak or deliver His message cause that person is always alert in the spirit. I hope this helps to understand the message your friend gave you. And my submission doesn't mean God doesnt use dreams on the believers. He is God and He can choose how to talk to His people the way He wants to.

I had this same dream where I was in a contention with some people, all I could do was to recite a few scriptures I knew then in my dream. The verse I was reciting didn’t seem to have effects on them. But I remembered that my pastor had been telling us of the importance of speaking in tongues, so I engaged speaking in tongues in that dream and that was how I overcame them through the power of the spirit. When I woke up from that dream, I knew I need to speak in tongues and immediately made it my prayer point. I had seen it in my dreams so it should manifest. Ever since I had that dream I have been intentional about it. One day I was praying alone in my room with so much desire, I was overwhelmed by the spirit of God and began to speak. I thing I got to realize is that each time God is showing us a dream he wants us to know his intentions, whether Good or bad he wants your will to agree to it so he can work. If it’s a good thing you saw then submit your will to God in prayers and call it forth. If it’s bad, submit your will to God to destroy the works of darkness over your life.

I have been battling delay for long, i usually dream of being in my secondary school of seeing myself with my secondary school mates, which i know was an issue, but early hours of this morning i woke with a dream that i saw myself in the university i graduated from with my present church members we went and did something i can't remember and we were back to a bus headed home. I knew God has done it but what really captured my mind is immediately waking up trying to check time on my phone and i saw this message hanging as a notifier, i just knew it is a confirmation from God. That’s what happened to me when I was a part of a church that wasn’t operating with the holyspirit. Everything that you mentioned Ps Stephanie about the type of dreams that God could communicate with you I was blessed to have. God is so gracious and merciful. Moreover I started having the same dream each night for several days where I would be attending the church conference and I would see all the demonic activities that were happening within the church but it happened when I was very young, 12 years of age and It had been a year since I got saved. It really did traumatize me because even prior to joining this church God was communicating to me through dreams and visions but I soon thereafter started having demonic encounters in the waking and in my dreams. I’m so thankful to the Lord that I left the church even though i joined through one of my family members.

Pray over yourself before you go to bed. Find scriptures to pray over self. Psalms 91 is a good one. I was terrorized in the beginning of my walk for a while. But I persisted.... and knew God was able. I hope this helps.

Oh, when you mentioned having dreams about your teeth/tooth shattering or an exam…. mind-blowing. I've been having these reoccurring dreams about losing one or more teeth and not passing this really important exam… over and over again. I need it neoowwww!!!! God always speaks in my sleep divinely the very most! And I used to always be attacked in my sleep by demons and sleep paralysis. I would get nightmares even as a child and it became normal to me to see demons in my sleep. Now since my deliverance GOD HAS BEEN SPEAKING IN MY DREAMS! When I started telling my great aunt about my dreams she told me God said I’m having visions and I never understood because I knew I was sleeping but when Stephanie said “visions of the night” it clicked. Even more insane I had a dream last night and I woke up this morning to a vision of black and heard God speak audibly for the first time! and NOW I open KZbin this is what I see!! I could definitely agree with what you said about sleeping with your tv on.I remember falling asleep a night, I forgot my tv on and I kid you not I just woke up all of a sudden to a documentary speaking about the devil. I know it’s God that woke me up to take that crap off. Mind you, i fell asleep with a whole other program playing. Moral of the story, never fall asleep with your tv on. I sleep with prayers or gospel music. Prepare your environment before going to sleep. I definitely want your book ❤ I love reading on that topic, As God has been revealing me so much in my sleep.

A few days ago i dreamt like i was crossing a river and next to it was a hut with people inside it going around and singing and behind it was crosses on the floor ...and the lady in my worship team said to me , in the dream " you need to be intimate with God " and there was also a man standing there just looking at me and not saying anything.

Stephanie I'm staying in a hotel for the past few weeks. I didn't pray over the room at first and I had those odd and evil dreams you mentioned. Once I prayed over it they died down. I came to that revelation about how spirits are attached to the bed or other places, then hearing your words made my heart drop because it was like you were speaking to me exactly what happened!!! I’m so grateful for you Stephanie, two years ago I was listening to one of your programs when God spoke to me audible about giving my life to Him. That moment I will never forget, and now you just also gave me the answer to a recurring dream that I have been having for months . I had the similar dream on multiple nights of me driving, or being driven , or I was on a passenger bus going somewhere.
