God’s WORD overrides/surpasses every other word. As John 1:1 says, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Jesus is the Name above every other name. Jesus and the WORD are the same (See Rev. 19:13). John 6:63 says, It is the Spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. As you speak God’s WORD over yourself- you activate the spirit realm. That’s why the same Wisdom principal (Prov. 4:7) of understanding comes into effect when leading someone to salvation in Romans 10:9-10, thus revealing how to receive from the same spirit realm in Romans 10:8; which says, But what saith it? The WORD is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the WORD of faith, which we preach. I use KJV, please feel free to read the WORD bible of your understanding.

I know the “Power” of God’s Word but yet I let those “feelings” speak forth instead of the “faith” & “the Power of His Word” to take precedence over those feelings. The tongue is a fire, a world of evil. James 3 5-12 Nancy self control is a gift given by the Holy Spirit. My advice would be to break the bondage of the tongue in prayer and ask the Holy Spirit for help in the gift of self control to defeat the bondage. I will pray for you Nancy.

Amen, what you thought was stepping in a puddle and talking about your radio friend was one of the highlights of your sermon! You showed us a template of those who are self-righteous and would rather expose than cover a sin, you could feel the spiritual ripple that went through the entire room and through the internet. How many of us make bad choices, you are modeling how to make the right choices in that situation. Nobody knows who you're talking about, no harm done! Thank you for your transparency and Christ's love for the body, regardless of the condition of said body!!!

What about the prophets Simeon and Anna, a prophet, was also there in the Temple? Were these not prophets in the supposed silent period? I really do not believe there was a silent period. There was a period where the people in general thought God stopped speaking much like many today.

I do not believe God was ever silent either. The majority of the corrupt church were able to control what the people heard. And only a minority was listening to what God said, but did not have a microphone.
