Day 3/21 of only dates and oranges. My wife was in a mood last night and my usual frustration and annoyance wasn’t there. The usual escalation didn’t happen either. I wasn’t holding it back… it just wasn’t there. I noticed as it was all happening and felt like those emotions weren’t there or capable of being brought up. Glory to god!

I really need to do this again. Last time I fasted and prayed demons manifested in me but on the third day it wasn't that bad but now I freaking backslid so I'm gonna fast this weekend for 3 days because it's hard to fast while I'm at work because my coworkers listen to heavy metal music and including other trades at the job site listen to evil music while I'm the only one that listens to worship music and sermons.

I started my fast on Jan 1st and I was struggling to stay away from food for the first 4 days. I kept giving into temptations in the evenings until on Sunday when God lead me to videos on deliverance and I prayed for Him to remove what ever spirit of gluttony was over me. Since then looking at food or watching cooking shows/tictok I haven’t been bothered/feeling the need to eat.

Thing is for me I prepare the food it's so tempting. Oddly I been watching cooking vids here and there but it doesn't bother me much but when food is prepared at home or it's my turn to cook I just want to disappear because the dishes look so appealing😭😭

@ pray about it. This was the issue I was having too. I asked God for deliverance and he took away those feelings and instead I put apportion away for after my fast. Place it in a freezer safe container label it and eat it after your fast. If you no longer want to eat it give it to someone else.

Consider looking into eating healthy nutrient rich organic whole foods when you are done fasting. Depression can by the result of a lack of nutrients such as: magnesium, potassium, B12 (which can show up on labs as low iron/ferritin), and others. After fasting 10 days a year ago, and resuming by eating gluten free, no sugars or fake sweeteners (outside of a little org maple syrup or raw honey) organic whole foods, my body has been feeling better and better.

i find soft flowing music helps me pray, and sing prayers, and sing in tongues. this has been helping me and the Holy Spirit shows up. God bless you. I also burst out in simple songs. like 'give me oil in my lamp, keep me burning", and 'there is power in the blood of the lamb, 'this is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it.
