It won't work at all - ever. Because unfortunately the whole thing is just a scam trying to grab money from gullible investors. Neutrinos interact with matter so rarely that you couldn't even power a super-tiny LED continuously with the neutrinos coming from the sun, not even if your machine was a cubic kilometer in size to get as many neutrino interactions as possible.

I don't see what this has to do with Neutrinos, which very rarely interact with atoms. It seems more like ambient thermal fluctuation energy. This Powercube concept seems to be similar to the Graphene Energy Harvesting Devices developed by University of Arkansas Physics Professor Paul Thibado and associates (see link below), which is a thermal energy capture device that captures the kinetic energy of molecules striking a 1-atom thick graphene sheet acting as one of the plates of a charged capacitor. The resulting voltage fluctuations are rectified by diodes to charge storage capacitors. Each tiny device produces a very small amount of electrical power, but thousands can be connected using semiconductor fabrication techniques to produce substantial output. At first thought, it would seem that devices like this violate the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics, which requires that a temperature difference must exist to extract work from heat, but in fact temperature difference arise spontaneously at the micro-scale. As of now, 99.9% of engineers and physicists would say that such a thing is impossible. It is hard to argue with the predominant interpretation of the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics, because you are then disagreeing with very smart Physicists like Albert Einstein and Richard Feynman. On the other hand, there are other very smart Physicists like Daniel Sheehan and P.W. Bridgman (Nobel Prize) who have argued that something like the Powercube is possible, without violating the 2nd Law. It seems to me that it should be possible to organize ambient fluctuation energy because there are differences of force, pressure, potential, or temperature that do occur spontaneously at the microscopic scale, as shown by Brownian Motion. There is no good reason why these differentials the spontaneously occur at the micro-scale cannot be combined to manifest useful work at the macro-scale. I hope these thermal energy harvester can be made to be practical. It would be better than fusion energy because it would be much cheaper and safer! You need to learn about neutrino physics. They simply do not interact with matter. It requires huge volumes of water as the active medium in Cherenkov detectors to detect atmospheric or reactor generated neutrinos. This little device will not intercept any neutrinos in a lifetime.

Can't get something for nothing. Using nanotech to harvest the energy of 'vicinity'? Gosh. 'Vicinity' sure must be something special! But to give it the benefit of the doubt, my guess is that 'vicinity' energy is random waste RF from machines and background noise from the Sun. So this sounds like a version of the basic solar panel. I can see it being useful to a degree, (you can harvest garbage RF at night, and you can stack layers of collectors rather than be limited to 2D spaces). But I'd recommend limiting your expectations. My favorite Free Energy harvesting comes from damming rivers. (Basically tapping into a planet-sized solar battery. Large bodies of water moving because of differential heating from the Sun). -Nuclear is more useful, because you can install a reactor anywhere and the tech bypasses the normal chemical/thermal laws which govern all other energy sources we have available, putting it as close to Something For Nothing as you can get. I find it amazing that people still pine after Free Energy "drawn from the fabric of the universe", but fail to realize that we already have it. Nuclear energy has been available at your wall socket since the 50's. The oil oligarchs have simply maneuvered it into an oil-equivalent cost structure, and made it as dirty and scary as possible. But we've had free energy for ages; we just don't call it that for some reason. Probably because building and maintaining the machines needed to do the harvesting and distribution is expensive.

The number of neutrinos per 1 centimeter square of the surface = 6*10^10 per second. Neutrino energy 3-10 MeV. We take an average of 6 MeV, which is 9.612 * 10^-13 J. Let's say a neutrino transfers 0.001 of its energy to atoms. Energy absorption per 1 square centimeter - 58 * 10 ^ -6 J pre second or 4.3 * 10 ^ -6 kWh. If the volume of the receiver is 112 layers with a size of 112x112 centimeters, then we get 6 kWh. Please feel free to critique my calculations.

In order for neutrinos to deign to react with matter and release their energy (only a few times a month!), smart people build huge neutrino detectors with a volume of tens of thousands of cubic meters.
