It is very strange that I’ve sung these verses to Don Moen song for over 30 years only to be stumped when someone asked me exactly what it meant. I’m practical terms. It took me a while before I replied … 1. Trust in the Lord ( complete submission to him both in heart and mind 2 . And lean not on our …. ( so whatever we are going through - His ways are not our ways . But how do we avoid being complacent ? I’d really like more thoughts on practical applications to these verses. Godbless
