Hearing the songs bought me memories on when I got this game for Christmas along with the pink game boy advance from my mom. Since then I started playing nonstop until I was told to go to bed lol. Eventually this game Mario Kart Super circuit Sonic advance 2,3, Golden Sun along with the lost age Dragon ball Z the legacy of Goku II Fire Emblem and Fire Emblem the Sacred Stones were my favorite games to play on the GBA

Very interesting that Manfred worked on this soundtrack. I actually reached out to him fairly recently, and what he told me is in fact true regarding a lot of these video game soundtracks and the composers behind them: they aren’t treated very well behind the scenes, which also explains why a lot of composers for licensed games specifically go unnoticed. Heck, for the longest time, I never even knew who was behind a lot of these soundtracks when I was a kid. Now, though, with the whole research scientist thing I’ve been doing for a decent amount of time, it kinda stings, knowing these composers don’t get a lot of recognition for the most part. Tomoyoshi Sato is probably my favorite licensed game composer, but he’s not well known because of that, for example. I think another major thing is how the idiots in charge of Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, and Disney, they don’t care about anything but pumping these games out frequently. Not the teams who dedicate tons of passion into licensed games, I mean the people in charge of those companies. It’s why I’m so happy All-Sta Brawl turned out really good. It could’ve easily been rushed and sloppy. But no, it’s a really good game, and has a young but massive fanbase as of this comment, which is especially rare for any licensed game in general. The only other example I can think of is Battle for Bikini Bottom. Speaking of that, did you know the very last mainline SpongeBob SquarePants game before Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated came out was SpongeBob HeroPants, which released back in 2015? I think the reason we didn’t get any more SpongeBob games was either there were too many being released too quickly, or the overall negative reaction HeroPants got at the time. Anyway, sorry I got a tad sidetracked there, just thought I’d share these tidbits of information, in case anyone else was curious.
