True, paper wasn't that easy. I got 100+ last year. Still I thought it wasn't a smooth ride this time. So I am quite surprised at all those channels on KZbin claiming it was easy and cutoff will be much higher. Attempting paper during exam & outside exam hall are quite different 😊

Timepass students will be saying, but experience players know it wasn't that smooth. Although csat was at easier side and not be big blocker like last year which will shoot up cutoff

I prepared for a year, followed Shivin sir for many months. But in the last week before the exam, everything that could go wrong, went wrong. Guests in our tiny apartment staying till the exam, extremely painful periods, persistent upset stomach, not having any space or silence whatsoever. Still, I was ready to go and deliver regardless of my circumstances. But yesterday night, I got fever, heavy congestion and migraine. Today I was supposed to leave home by 6, but I could not get out of bed at all. I could only pull myself out of bed by 9, but by then it was too late. I'm disheartened, especially because the questions were doable for me. Anyway, if God has another plan for me, I'll take it. Will definitely take the exam next year.

Everything happens for a reason....be happy that you survive the life not the exam.....who knows if you went to the exam anything can happen in the way or in the exam hall. You can do well next year God bless you ❤

I also skipped exam intentionally.Because in this summer my home is not suitable for preparing 6-10 hours in a day. At 1 pm it became very difficult to sit in front of my device. Small electricity cuts & internet problems add in frustation.

Last year after Prelims I thought I was not worthy enough. This attempt I don't know yet how much I will score will update after answer key but yes I'm proud that I performed much much better and I'm Proud of my efforts. My confidence did take a huge toll last year but yes now I believe I'm not that bad either. CSAT was tricky especially Comprehension It wasn't that easy but yes it could be done.

@@atgc2310 As much as I can but situation was very difficult to manage and got tensed by this behaviour of the people in the centre UPSC should clarify it. There they argued with us that they got instructions to not to allow the water bottle inside the hall.

Article 21 😂 Sir what yoy randomly said yesterday , came in paper. Irrespective of the result I'm so happy & proud of myself. Was able to tackle CSAT , my weak zone & did GS to the best of my abilities. Result is definitely not in my hand but I'm extremely deligted today. Sir last time I got 83. This time getting 68. I somehow just collapsed in those exam conditions this time. Was having difficulty recalling facts. Ended up making stupid mistakes. The 50-50 didn't work in my favour either. I don't know what to do. I feel lost and very embarrassed. The fact that most people did good makes me feel even worse. I don't know what to do. Please guide me

Polity is like a best friend , never ditches at the last moment. And yes, I totally agree that we were familiar with the pattern of paper so it might feel easy, but it was not easy at all. Despite having revision on my tips & then upsc asks- largest terrestrial peatland reserves😅. Googly was there in so many questions.

Paper never is Easy... If You make article 21 right then all make it right... So that doesnt determine cutoff... Bcoz all r marking correct... There were vague question on militery etc

Those who are saying it easy , the thing is that they know just only 20 question then they announce paper is easy but they are those who don't going to qualify .. Cut-off will be 85 -90 those who got 85+ best of luck for the mains .. and those who didn't get that score keep it for next prelims. Best wishes 🎉

It was a totally a nightmare came in present for me. I reached around 9.00.58 AM at the center and they did not allow me to enter. Hence, I could not attempt it.. I have been preparing for CSE since 2020. I was about to give 3rd attempt this year.. but all it remained a shock. I was happy by seeing the behaviour of public servant there including the supervisor who did not let me enter and police staff. They did their job. But I will be more happier if I see such a punctual and right behaviour at everywhere and in every arm of government. Because, grace of 1-5 mins can be given on the supervisor's discretion. Because things like travelling and means of public travelling is not in our hand. But something more may be planned for me for next year. But definately I will remember his behaviour and definately use in exam wherever I will find suitable. In the end, rules are for us and whoever is not abiding them purposely shall be punished but sometimes if it is genuine cause then it must considered too. For 0.58 seconds he just waste 1 year of mine.

Sir, please make seperate modules of economy, environment, sci tech etc as separate courses at sarrthi ias. We can buy the required seperate course instead of buying the whole foundation course.

I scored 115 last year, this year scoring 108. I dint feel paper was that easy. In such ppr full of facts one is likely to commit blunders, and so i did. Many people this yr wud hav compromised by getting easy questions wrong. So dont expect more cutoff just bcs ot was more doable than last yr
