It is based on sporting merit. These clubs got wealthy off the back of years of success. What the actual cartel of Man City, Aston Villa, Newcastle and Nottingham Forest - owned by despotic oil states, gangsters and other such bad actors - want, is the ability to pump as much dirty money as they like after buying success quickly. Why does Kaveh ignore the fact that the vote might not mean anything? The PL also “won” the original vote on this and were then found to be implementing unlawful rules. City simply wanted to wait to see if the amendments are still unlawful but the PL in their infinite wisdom, have decided to press ahead without clarification from the independent commission. This “PL victory” might all fall apart in a matter of days.
@matthewbaker25735 сағат бұрын
You have absolutely no clue on what you are talking about. City brought up 27 claims against the Premier league, including playing the race card. After full investigation, it was deemed 2 of those things brought up needed to be corrected which the league said they can sort out quickly and put it to vote. City have then cried about sorting these issues quickly, wanting more time, then sent letters to every other club begging the other teams to be on their side. 16 of the 20 gave them the 🖕 Bet they do their best to drag out their court proceedings too

@@CHILLIFLAMESWith all due respect, the leagues “legal experts” keep getting their asses handed to them. They allowed the PL to try and implement unlawful rules and this came just weeks after the Leicester legal team ripped them a new one, so yes, of course they know more than me but they are clearly not infallible. There was nothing to be gained from holding the vote today and everything to lose. They could have waited for the IC to give their final judgement (remember, both the PL and City agreed that they would go to the IC for clarification) and if it is as they want/expect, held the vote at that point. As for the 16-4 vote, clubs will always look out for themselves and vote for whatever is a preferred outcome on any given day.

This case is extremely critical, if City should have its way, the entire foundation and legacy of the league will be destroyed, the Premier league would no longer be the most competitive and entertaining league in the world, because every year, there would just be one or two teams winning it, which City has been doing for so long now, so can you imagine if they should allow to spend as they wish? City could have a poor season while the other clubs have their best season yet, and they still end up winning the league.. I think we all know that it's only a matter of time before they regain their form this season, and once they do, who will be able to stop them? If City should win this case, not only the PL will be impacted, but the other divisions.. And the other clubs are agreeing with City are a bunch of headless chickens, because even though they might get the chance to spend as they please by whichever source, they still wouldn't be able to outspend City, they still wouldn't be able to compete with City furthermore to surpass them..
