The league has been incredibly well marketed and has spread its legs for foreign investment; as you said fans have been paying extortionate prices for a while. Fair play to German fans for having a backbone and being willing to sacrifice foreign investment so they have a say in their clubs' running.

I think this sentiment comes also from how the championship is run, with having multiple teams financially killing themselves to get into the prem and then falling even further in obscurity. You can point at a multitude of teams which have, or are currently doing this exact thing in the championship and not so much in other second divisions.

It's really weird how they all blame the premier league for their shortcomings and instead of either accepting it or changing their systems they just go for something that suits just a few, I also think the whole system of leagues is really unfair and should go towards the model that F1 is going in with the budget caps and more equality(hopefully even more in the future) Great video again my dude, so glad I discovered you! Also it is funny when fans of the big clubs from Leagues like the Dutch or Portuguese are complaining about the premier league despite the fact that they are pouching the best players from the smaller clubs in their country.

great video. the sad thing i think is that we have come a long and ugly way from grow your regional talent to cutting corners. i am not mad at clubs improving their roster greatly. tbh i was a huge supporter of the first galacticos. i loved the idea but it has turned into something so illogical. if you watch at manunited before rangnick, chelsea after abramovich, hertha bsc with windhorst, there are just too many clubs that are clueless what to do with large lumpsums of money. they create unrealistic expectations just by spending and drive fans away. what i dislike about clubs like psg, leipzig or city is that they just don't give a flying f about rules and regulations. leipzig not spending great sums but they have different clubs in professional football leagues to grow their talents and get them for the cheapest amounts of money possible. city treating the whole world as their training teams just like psg while hoarding massive amounts of high level prospects. there simply is no balance. the most winningest teams in each league are draining ressources (most talented players) from opposing national clubs untill there is no competition. and there is no exception in the top european leagues. one might argue barca and real. but just look at the situation barca is in. it's not only due to bad management by itself but also was forced due to exploding salaries and transferfees. i just miss the good old times, where you suddenly have a club like gala beating arsenal in the uefa cup. now it's like the clubs that get demoted from cl to el can't even motivate themselves for that cup but if they happen to win it then it becomes a "great victory". football has become unbearably boring.

@@donaldjgumpofficial5754it’s an interesting trade off that they theoretically made. In terms of pure squad quality and financial might, Swansea and Cardiff are probably even to Celtic and Rangers. Celtic and Rangers are a benefit to Scottish football, but also a detriment to their ceiling as they’ll never do better than being dominant at home and dogshit in the UCL. Cardiff and Swansea could’ve been the same thing in Wales that Celtic and Rangers are in Scotland, but they get the additional riches of English football.
