Chris I just wanted to let you know you inspire me and I'm trying to take the first steps to become a pilot. I love Fling Drones and love my Flight sims. I have wanted to become a pilot my whole life and have never had the courage to take the first steps. I am now 51 years old and hope its not too late for me. I'm not wanting to become an airline pilot I just would love to be like you and teach people how to fly and enjoy it as much as I do. I have been training and teaching people my whole life but just in the wrong industry (restaurant management). I so look forward to teaching like you. Just hope I'm not to late in my life.

Chris, one of your closing statements was about how you do this podcast for free and don't have sponsors. But I say, as a listener, why not brother? You deserve it. You should totally look at sponsorship from only aviation related companies, i.e. Garmin, David Clark, Piper, Cessna, etc. Get paid for what you do. Enjoy your life more!

Would be open to it, but I suppose I'm not a good salesman.

Chris, I believe that your podcast should on the "cover page" of every flight school syllabus material... To describe what it really takes to become a pilot, what are the bare essentials, before even getting close to any aviation materials. If I may, I would add one more thing to your list. Be humble. Not only at the beginning of your training... but always, no matter how many hours you have, since flying is an on-going learning process that requires a broad range of learning...especially when revisiting personal minimums.
